Ocean State Job Lot

i fell like i have an obligation to tell you the truth about job lot. I've seen mice and squirrels make a playground and had the opportunity to reach into a box and get a fist full of dead mouse. yeah opening a box is kind of a surprise every time. if there is mold on the outside of the box you still have to take what inside and save the one that have slightly less mold on it and price it and top shelf. but you have 6 months after the expiration on food so that stuff gets put in the power lane the first thing see when you walk in. the ceiling is all ways leaking, mold and bacteria from a gaping hole in ceiling. injuries are frequent especially when they have 110 pound chicks lift mad heavy boxes like a foot over there head.climbing on top of boxes hoping not to fall just to get down stock of planogram stuff . I've dislocated shoulder , pulled muscles in my back dropped a 10 pound weight on my toe and i told my manager and she copt mad attitude when i told here and what ever you do if you go to job lot do not i mean do not gallivant or socialize

I've found job lots are terrific for assorted food stuff like cheap nuts and canned goods. There are times when they run out of stock, but on the whole I feel confident I'll find a bargain just for walking in!
Also, its been my experience that I get cheap "wear around the house" kinds of cloths there, wooly slipper socks and night gowns, it just depends on the store and what they are trying to unload.
But the reason I held a star back is because THEY HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO CHARGE FULL PRICE FOR STUFF LIKE SHAMPOO AND CREAMS!
All told though, its one of my favorite discount stores!!!!

I'm not a very big fan of going into Job Lot. To me, it comes across as dirty and some other the things that they sell look like they are second-hand (clothing-wise). They have good prices but I'd rather spend the extra couple of cents and go to Target or WalMart.
