Twenty years ago, the Firehouse was a must-see destination- unlike under the new management. In short, it is a disgrace to the entire city of Newport and an embarrassment to society at large. Were those cans of Ragu pizza I saw littered

Stopped in while exploring Newport during the summer. The price a little high for the summer but in the winter, reasonable prices.

One of a kind. Say what up to Ruey when you swing through, rest assured though - there isn't any magic in the mushrooms on your pizza. Just some of the best food in town

Firehouse pizza is located in, you guessed it, an old firehouse. The really unique part are the tables... please write on them is the rule... once there is ebough graffitti, they add a coat of laquer so that it doesn't rub off. Entertain yourself as you wait for the self serve pizza and grinders that are outstanding. Definately a place to try even though it is quite far down Thames Street and therefore a little off the beaten path.

We love their chicken cutlet grinder and cheese fries. Not a big fan of their pizza. We do like their meatballs. Service can be questionable. Overall for a grinder it is very good.
