Yup, another glowing review for this place. The food is excellent/very authentic. Surprisingly, the place was very clean (which one wouldn't expect at this type of place). The only con, which may be the city's fault is no public bathroom. Outside of that, I will return & leave happy.

My favorite item on the menu is the Gyro Pocket, but the falafels are fantastic too. Great staff and service. They give you a free stick of baklava for each dollar you tip!

I've always loved falafel so it was no surprise that East Side Pocket was one of my favorite spots to grab a quick lunch. But I recently brought my 2 meat-lovong aunts to try a falafel pocket from East Side Pocket for the first time. They both loved their pockets so much one of them even exclaimed "You don't even miss the meat with this sandwich!" It's also economical and fast, even if a little intimidating to order at first. The guys behind the counter are so quick you've gotta be on your toes and ready to order when your turn comes up in line!

Absolutely phenomenal. The food is fantastic- I strongly reccomend the falaffel wrap. It's quick and very well priced. A great stop if you want something better than a burger while on the run, or want to try something tasty and ethnic

I had the chicken pocket - so good! Chicken was hot off the grill and everything tasted so fresh. Now that I work in the area, it will be a regular stop.

This is a place I used to eat at a minimum 4 times a week. I now live in Vancouver, BC, and I have never found a falafel that comes close. I took my Vancouverite husband there just before I moved, and he could not believe how amazingly fresh and just GOOD their falafels are. I miss chatting with all the guys, and even getting a wave if they saw me walking by. I have yet to find a place that matches it for food, and friendliness here in Vancouver. It is one of my most missed places in RI.

The best place to get a cheap, great-tasting meal in Providence. The service is friendly. They take pride in forging a great service relationship with their customers. I can't say enough about this landmark establishment.

The food is really really good and the counter service is quick and friendly. The restaurant itself is small and crowded. It is a favorite for take-out among students and office staff nearby.

I must say that this place is the best restaurant in Rhode Island! People all over the world say they have the best falafel and they sure do! The service is quick (even if the line is out the door), it's the cleanest restaurant I've ever been to (cleaner than my own house), the food's cheap and great (my fav's the dolma pocket-sometimes with gyro in it), and the guy that works there is so cute - the one with the red hair!!!!

East side pockets is great for lunch, dinner, late-night, ... anytime. The falafel is great and always fresh. The curly fries beat the regular fries by a mile. The various pocket sandwiches are a great value, though the salads are good too. Not too hungry or just want a snack? .. try the spinach pie or the grape leaves.
