I been going to Dino's for a while now. I love the service. The staff bend over backwards to please you. They always have specials! I just had a Facial! I feel so relaxed!

I went in one day to buy a gift certificate for a friend who is a patron there. As I was waiting by the desk, one of the ladies was yelling at the young girl who was working at the desk. She was literally almost in tears! They told her to walk outside and the lady followed her out. Is this how they treat their employees?? I can only imagine how they treat an unhappy client! There's plenty of other salons with lots of stylists with MORE experience AND who ARE PROFESSIONAL! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Walk don't run!??

I have to agree... Jennifer cannot keep good help. She feels threatened and will sabotage them. It is very unfortunate because she is so talented. But she is not a good manager. Her insecurity gets the best of her each time. Since she is too busy looking at what everyone else in the salon is doing she neglects her own client. She does not respect your time, you end up waiting for your apt then spending 2 hours in her chair while she tries to have a hand in what every other stylist there is doing. How many good stylists have come and gone over the years? What a shame. She runs them out and then gets mad when they find a new salon to work at and makes their life miserable.
Great stylist, sketchy person, horrible manager...

My reaction to the seemingly fictitious reviews posted below was one of shock, bordering on disbelief....How could my experience as a client of 8 yrs. possibly be so drastically different? JENNIFER is so incredible at what she does, she loves what she does and it shows! She is so much more than "just a" stylist or colorist (or salon-owner).... she is an ARTIST. She has done everything to my hair, from edgy cuts and color to densely texturized styles...and I have never left once less than happy...She also is outstanding at being able to duplicate the last style/cut if I ask her to, which requires strong technique and years of experience....Jennifer and her wonderful staff cater to their clients, and delight in our satisfaction, time after time; I've watched them with every type of customer, noting how they make each one feel special .

Particularly in a still-sagging economy , it was pitiful to imagine what malice someone would have towards this hard-working woman...to write in hopes of dissuading others from patronizing her salon. Disgraceful tactics, especially when done anonymously and viciously...Beyond a confirmation call, which is standard business fare nowadays...I have never been called or hounded by Jennifer or anyone at Dino's... After reading the diatribe posted, coupled with raves for an ex-employee...who barely worked there 2 months...I began to wonder, and question, once again, whether people who hide behind screen names should even be allowed to post on these sites...especially when bad-mouthing or slandering others . It compelled me to encourage anyone looking for a great place to get their hair revived (or nails, waxing, facials) to give Dino's Salon and Spa a visit. It's a GEM we are lucky to have in Warwick!!

Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this vipers' nest! I made an appointment quite by chance and was somewhat satifsfied with my service (Jennifer). I paid and tipped and left. Unsure if I would return - my longtime hairdresser recently died of cancer : ( - so I am still scoping out salons. In retrospect, I guess I should never have given my phone number, but I never assumed things would degenerate into what can only be called stalking. After about three days, the calls began. Jennifer asked me if I liked the service if I would return, etc. . . I thought it was a nice touch - THE FIRST TIME. . . The NEXT day she called back asking how the experience could have been improved and then asking all about former employees of hers and almost demanding I make a rebook with her! I firmly told her to stop calling. Then the hysterics began. This was something out of Fatal Attraction or Play Misty for Me. She left sometimes teary, sometimes angry messages insulting me and my hair, accusing me of hurting her business, of personal attacks, of basically everything except the 9-11 attacks - and I suspect that call is coming! I have referred the matter to the appropriate authorities. Do yourself a favor - use a FLOWBIE before coming to this Little Shop of Horrors!

The review that I posted for this salon is not fictitious in the least. I had been a loyal customer of Dino's for more years than you have and would be more than willing to sit down for coffee to prove it to you. I have been passed around and then when the stylist leaves that I was passed on toward, I am called repeatedly over and over again until I go back to her.

I have located the stylist that you have accused of being responsible for these writings and have heard the horror story that he has gone through with Jennifer and her husband. He was threatened with physical violence and death for working within such a close proximity to their salon and the Police were called, who does acts like this in business?

It is true that he was there for two months but I knew as well as others, that he wouldn't be there that long anyway. Jennifer doesn't bode well with any stylist that can out perform her. She had him served with legal papers regarding a non competitive agreement that he never signed and is trying to stop him from working. If she doesn't feel threatened by him in the least, then why doesn't she just let him go? This is the behavior of an obsessed lunatic. Oh, and by the way, I read the legal document and am appalled that she would consider that because I was a client of her salon, that I am her "PROPERTY" and not able to leave.

As long as you continue to go to her for your services, you won't see the side of Jennifer that harasses those of us that choose to go elsewhere. Teary eyed phone calls won't cut it anymore, I am done.

Went to Dino's and discovered a gem. They have a new stylist from Newbury Street and he is unbelievable, his name is Thomas Anthony. He changed my color from drab to dynamite and even cut my hair dry. I left the salon feeling like a million dollars and the cost was very reasonable. I have gotten nothing but compliments on my new look. He is extremely talented, handsome and very entertaining. He even had the manicurist come out and give me a hand massage. Ladies run don't walk to see him for your hair.

Greeted pleasantly and very celan inside. Got my pedicure, and my feet feel great! You should definitely try DINO if you're looking for a new salon. The services are top quality, but the prices are more like a local salon. Going into the city can be a pain, the traffic, the parking etc... Why bother when you can get everything right here in Warwick, easy to get to, easy to park, friendly, inviting and comfortable. This salon is a winner, and you will be too if you try it!
