Cute little restaurant with great omelets! Even though it gets pretty packed on weekend mornings, it's worth it. Favorite breakfast spot in town - you can't go wrong ordering anything on the menu. The pancakes, sandwiches, muffins, french toast, omelets are all wonderful!

This is a great little place on Wickenden. But I must emphasize "little place." It's not meant to handle large crowds. And on Saturday or Sunday mornings, the line for a table can be well over an hour and you're guaranteed to sit in close quarters.

The food itself though, is delicious. You can get big portions for very reasonable prices. The variety of breakfast choices is outstanding, especially for someone like me who wants something different every time.

Definitely go in and enjoy. Just get there or early or be prepared to wait in line!

Great breakfast (my favorite is the chicken and avacado omelet - I forget what they call it) with a good variety of choices and very unique blend of ingredients. Good coffee, decent atmosphere, decent service. We had one bad experience when the waitress threw out our leftovers and made a rude comment that we should not have left it on the table, but we have seen gone back and enjoyed breakfast there again. Definitely worth trying.

Cons: Below average service

Brickway is a cute little restaurant that serves breakfast all day. It has a pretty good selection of breakfast foods, and plenty of healthy options. They also have seasonally-inspired daily specials (like pumpkin pancakes in the fall). There can be a long wait on the weekends though so I'd get there early. And don't go with a large crowd because it's just not really set up to handle that.

The menu is fantastic! There are all the right kind of simple and tasty combinations you could ask for in a selection of egg/omelet dishes. You'll have a hard time choosing what you want because you will want to eat all of it. I recommended Sunday brunch, but that's a busy time. If they say your wait time is over 40min I would move on. If 40min or less I would say it's worth the wait!

Pros: Food and atmosphere. The convenience of breakfast food at all hours of the day. Portions are good.

Cons: The wait in line on Sundays and sometimes the service is slow.

This is the second best breakfast spot I have ever been to... the coffee here was so good, they refer to it as "new england" coffee and the waitress insisted i try it. i had the black bean omelet (mexican style) and it was delcious.

Also, I love the atmosphere here, it is a cute little shack with colored walls and paintings, it has so much character. Very reasonably priced.

I went with my parents mid morning on a Sunday and it was packed. We had to wait about 20 minutes but it was well worth it! The prices are right and the food delicious. The service was also very good.

I've been to Brickway on Wickenden twice and will definately be going again and again. It is the best breakfast place I have been to in the Providence area. An eclectic interior offers the best pancakes I have ever had outside of my own kitchen. The homefries are terrific and not to greasy and the eggs are perfectly cooked to order. Nice wait staff and a relaxed atmosphere. Get there when it opens. Its a popular place and gets crowded by mid-morning.

For my money, there's no better breakfast house in Providence! We're not talking gourmet eats here, but great food at a great price that can't be beat.

The atmosphere is very RISD inspired with most of the furnishings (tables, chairs, utensils, etc.) culled from, what appear to be, a variety of yard sales. For the most part, nothing matches and nothing is supposed to. And that's the fun of it!

Check out the variety of pancake dishes served in generous portions! Top notch!
