Purple Haze

really cheap incenses, like 10 for a dollar. plus I'm getting my naval pierced and the guy that worked there was very helpful in telling me what to do.

I have 22 piercings and have gotten them all there. Dusty is the best guy ever, and Carrie is Way cool and easy to talk to, they were nothing but helpful every time I have been or had any questions. However some of the people that work the counter (one guy in particular) is a bit of a jerk, every time I have been in there he seems to be bothered by me or helping me. As far as price is concerned, they are worth it

I got my nostril pierced here only yesterday and I am very pleased with how well it went. The guy who pierced my nose was very friendly and helpful. The place was very clean and sterile.

He made sure to show and explain every part of the procedure, from the needle to the nose stud, and made sure to show that it was all sterile. He changed gloves at least 5 times during the procedure and made sure to keep the counters clean with chlorox.

I was asked to sign waivers before the procedure and they were very clear with care instructions for my piercing. They allow you to take one friend into the back room so you don't have to be alone (and someone to hold your hand if you get scared ^.^)

The prices were very reasonable and the piercing itself was quick and relatively painless.

I would definately recommend this place to others.

I just googled Purple Haze and found this site. I was dissapointed to see that there were a few out there that had bad experiences.

I've been getting piercings there since 2004. I have been pierced by both Dusty and Carrie. I have had my belly button pierced there twice, vertical c-hood twice, cartilage twice, monroe once, and I'm going there today to get my rook.

I've gone through periods where I didn't want a certain piercing so I took it out but I always went back to re-pierce and sometimes found that it just needed to be tapered. If you've had a piercing that you think may be closed- ask before you pay! They'll give you a refund, of course, if a piercing isn't necessary. The studio is always completely sterile and it's been my experience that they are also professional and friendly.

If you are ever in Spartanburg, I do not reccommend Dark Side Body Piercing. They pierced my monroe there in 2006. The placement was off, the hole was slanted downward, and I wasn't asked to sign a release form until after the procedure was complete. Needless to say, that was the only time I will ever go somewhere else to get a piercing!

Well I am 20 years old and I went in for a Industrial but I was told I didn't have enough cartlidge so I got my conch pierced instead, I actually went to another parlor to get the other ear done. The one I had done at purple haze never healed, and when the needle went it she turned it and it came out in a different place on my skin in the back. Needless to say I will never go back at all.

I got my nose pierced at Purple Haze on Friday, June 27, 2008. This was my first piercing in about 15 years (got my ears done in 5th grade) and I was very nervous. Dusty was my piercer and he was GREAT! He was so nice, very calming, answered all my questions. He was very careful to maintain a sterile environment: sterilized the chair before I sat down, changed his gloves at least twice if not 3 times to avoid cross contamination, opened the sealed bags of piercing tools in front of me so I could see they were new and sterile. I would go back to Purple Haze in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an excellent piercing experience.

I got my tongue done monday 7~23~07 and had to take it out wednesday 7~25~07 because ever time i would eat it would bleed and not just spot bleed like yall told me when i called...my hole mouth was nothing but blood!! I think Carrie put it to the left side just a lil to much!!! Everyone that i know its in the middle of the tongue not the side!!! I dont think any one should go to your businesses to get anything done!!! Thanks for nothing!!!

I had my tongue pierced there a couple weeks ago and Josh was my piercer he was great!! I'm going back in 2 days to get my nipples done!!! They have a great shop and everyone there was so nice and kool!!!
