Cant say enough good things about LPL. I own a pitbull and rottweiler and some places wont allow my pitty to stay due to breed restrictions. That is not a problem at LPL. Employees are always courteous and friendly. Lodgings for dogs

I would not recommend this kennel to anyone. First, I must say that although I did not use the grooming service the groomers (or women working in the grooming area) were the ONLY ones who were polite and provided professional customer

I recently moved to the north side of Columbia, but when I lived in West Columbia my furkids went to Lexington pet Lodge when they needed a place to stay when I went places my "kids" couldnt go. They loved it here and I was always greeted by the great staff. I always took my babies to their runs and they were always clean and sanitary!!!

Awesome place!!!

I recently left my dog, Princess, at Lexington Pet Lodge for an extended stay while I dealt with some family issues. She was there for over six weeks, and honestly, I expected to return to a sad and lonely pup. What I returned to though, was something entirely different. She was bouncing around, clearly happy and being well taken care of. The staff loved her, and by her return of affection to the staff, it was clear that she loved them as well. Princess is a rescue, thus doesn't take very well to strangers. This was extremely impressive to me! When I returned to pick her up, staff immediatley recognized me when I walked in the door. They took me back to get my happy and bouncing puppy who looked great, smelled great, and was just great all over. \r\n\r\nI called every other day for six weeks, and they never once rushed me off the phone, and were eager to tell me how she was doing, what staff members she was taking to/prefered, how she was eating, and what her schedule was looking like. By the third week of calls, they knew who I was upon my stating ""I'm calling to check on my puppy"", and could quickly tell me ""Princess is doing great... Today she..."". This showed me that they actually took the time to get to know her, and by them telling me things she was doing that I knew for a fact she did at home, just showed that much more.\r\n\r\nAs for the kennel it's self, some of things that stood out and impressed me was the fact that the owner lived on site, sensor monitoring outside the run (in case a dog does climb over), the extreme cleanliness without any chemical odors, the staff ratio, and the fact that they invite you to come along into the run area to say goodbye to your pup and to say hello upon your return! Many kennels don't allow this, and for what reason I haven't a clue.\r\n\r\nAll in all, I was highly impressed and would recommend this place to anyone!!
