Lizards Thicket is a decent restaurant chain if your looking for Southern style cafeteria-style food. That said, I usually found their vegetables a little over-cooked and watery with way too-much bacon in the green beans. If you are looking for calories you'll find them here. Is it better than the S&S Cafeteria in Richland Mall by comparison? No. I think their number of entrees has improved over the years, but I can't say I would be more likely to go there because of it.

The BEST meat-and-three in the state! Down-home country cooking that makes your mouth water and your cholerstoral soar. Not for those watching their caloric or fat intake (although they do have great salads!). Get the fried chicken with black-eyed peas, mac-and-cheese and coutry skillet apples. Don't forget the sweet tea!!
