Food was pretty good - service leave much to be desired. Ordered linguine with shrimp, crab and scallops, but there were no shrimp in the dish.

In Northeastern Pennsylvania local pizza is supreme. Pizza Hut had to close their store for lack of business, no one went there since the local pizza shops were the best----better than NYC.

Antonina's is the closest in pizza ingredients and quality to the high standards for thin crust pizza that are established in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

We have several Yankee Italian (Northeastern Pennsylvania) family members living in this area and all agree the very best thin crust pizza is made by Antonina's.

Our regular pizza order is a cheese pizza with extra onions and extra garlic, we call it the Polish Pizza. At our request the onions are diced, not sliced.

We were surprised one night to receive our bill with the printout of POLISH PIZZA and the cost.

One night the ovens were not doing a complete bake of the pizza causing the dough, cheese, onions, and garlic to "slide off" the cut pizza. When we spoke to Diane about this she said she would remove the cost from our check, we insisted that was not necessary since we did eat the other sections of the pizza; however, Diane INSISTED and she took off the pizza from our check.

Other menu items enjoyed by our family are the Eggplant Parmigiana, Sausage and Peppers Capelline, Raviolis, and Veal Marsala. The serving portions are very generous.

These are Italians serving Italian cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere, you cannot be dissatisfied enjoying a meal there.

I worked there and the employees are ok, the bosses wife, Diane is HORRIBLE. I was sick and threw up three times and I told her and she wanted me to stay there till closing that wasn't for another hour and a half. There was also another incident when an employee got sick and she made that person stay. My mom is threatening to call DHEC on them. She should have done it earlier. It is probably to late now. She also never spoke to me nicely, but was nice everybody else.
When they fired me for no reason, they didn't even tell me that I was fired. Apparently I am now psychic and know everything. When I asked why Diane never gave me one reason why I am fired.
The pizza sucks. My parents told me the the service wasn't good at all. The prices are HORRIBLE.
I WILL NOT OR WILL EVER RECOMEND THIS PLACE FOR ANYONE, AND I HOPE THEY SEE THIS. This place is the worst place I have ever seen. Mrs. Diane is the RUDEST person I have ever met.
Whenever anybody thinks about going there, make another guess b/x the person that might be cooking your dinner is sick and Mrs. Diane made that person stay there. I was a dishwasher.

The pizza here beats out my former favorite, Za's in Columbia. Authentic NY Italian cuisine and personal attention from the chef. Service was prompt and courteous. Just wish they'd open another restaurant in Colatown!

Our first and last time dining here. I took my wife here for her birthday. When we entered the door, we requested the dining room instead of the front "Cafe" area. We were gruffly informed that only pizza was available to be served in the dining room area!?????

The garlic twist appetizers were very good, but it was 45 minutes later before our main course arrived. They were not busy, 6:00 pm on a Thursday. Simply put, I do not think any seasoning was used on our dishes. We both used a very large amount of salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese to add some flavor to the dishes. I had to work to catch the waitress's attention to get refills. My children had a slice of pizza, they did enjoy that.

A very disappointing meal when the intent was to treat my wife to some authentic Italian cooking. A real let down. VERY overpriced for the quality of service and food.

Best Pizza in the world. And the pasta dishes have authentic sauces, not imitation or over-spiced flavors.A taste everyone can relate to, but one real; Italians will definitely appreciate

This place is so authentic and so family that you feel like you belong the minute you walk through the door.
I would make reservations on the weekends - this place gets mobbed. Anyone who knows food and knows Italian will make this spot a regular weekly visit.

PROS: Great food, great people, from Nana & Papa to the grand children
CONS:

I have eaten at this restaurant in the past and the food is ok, but the service has always been lacking. The last time we went in for my husband's birthday and had a terrible experience. It seemed that there were lots of empty tables, but not enough people to service them. It also appeared that since we were not "known" by the owners and hostess, we kept getting passed up by people that had just walked in the door. After waiting for at least a half-hour and watching many people sit down, we finally left with no birthday dinner from there. Not a great celebration!

PROS: Food is ok
CONS: Service (if you can even get a seat) is definitely lacking
