I have been attending Victory Baptist church for a little over a year now. Gods annointing is on this church : ) !
I never thought I 'd like it in a large church, but I do because I can clearly see God is there ! ! ! People are Saved every single week.! And some are baptised every single week also !
There have been two things missing though, according
to the word of God. So I 've been( Praying) for them to come into the church also . And the Lord has spoken to Pastor because they are coming in also the past two weeks! Answered prayer. Thank You Lord !
I believe Pastor Larry is well rounded and cares about his people ! Praise GOD For him ! 9-20-2010

My son and his family joined the church in April of this year. We have been to the church several times and we love it.
The church has a good spirit in it.
It has a great youth program in it, and that is what the young people need today.
If it were closer we would be going to this church.

I went to Victory many years ago... as well as other members of my family over a 25 year period. Victory is a good church; however, it seems to have 'outgrown' its abilities to have enough "shepherds" to provide individual ministry to their church goers. The youth and adult groups seem to have a lot of involvement. The people up in age who are no longer able to attend the church or who are unable to attend regularly (at least in our experience)...received only one follow call to see how my parents were doing...and that was from the church secretary. My parents attended Victory for 10 to 15 years old. They tithed most faithfully. But, when my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to have a masectomy, chemotherapy x 9 months and radiation x 3 months...she never received one phone call, visit or card. My dad later had 2 strokes, was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and a second diagnosis of prostate cancer requiring a permanent foley catheter...never received a phone call, card, or visit. It's as if my parents supported the church for 10-15 years via attendance and very faithful tithing. But, in their hour of need everyone was just too busy with the "physical growing of the church building, bank account and responsibilities that go therewith..."

This is one of the best churches in America. The people are very friendly, the music is second to none and the preaching is dynamite! If you are looking for a good church home in the CSRA you've found it at Victory.

PROS: fellowship, music, preaching, special ministries
CONS:
