Poor Food

Been going here for years. This year 2008 was really bad.
My chicken was very hard to cut. I had only a butter knife.
I told them & they offered to cook another chicken. I told them no (didn't want to wait for it).
Was charged full price for dinner.
Me and my friend will never go back to this place.

I want to tell, that Ramandos is great restaurant!!! It's great food,great servise, it's the best Italian restaurant! I never tryed before scallops and shrimps mornay, it was delisious!!!!I really advise to you to go there!

Pleasant atmosphere, nice setup and great food. Wait staff are friendly and professional. A nice variety of Italian specialties with a diverse wine list also. The restaurant has a very friendly, homey feel.

All of my reviews on here, so far, are good.... except this one. This happened last summer (04) when my parents came to visit me in Myrtle Beach for their vacation. We waited until later to eat, so we just wanted to find somewhere. I was sort of craving Italian, so said we should stop there when I saw the sign. I hadn't eaten that, but it looked okay. The food took over 45 minutes to come, and our waitress was either on drugs, or something was seriously wrong with her. She took the tip off the table in front of us, before we had the bill, and BEFORE everyone was finished throwing in some. We still were going to tip her DECENTLY, because I have been a waitress for a long time. No matter how bad the service, I wouldn't totally stiff someone. If I get bad service, I leave 10%, instead of 20%. The bad part is my little sister couldn't eat her pasta dish, because there were shells in it. It had crab meat in it, fresh crab meat, but it shouldn't have included shells! We asked to have it removed once we realized she had barely touched it. They refused. I demanded the manager come out. A sweaty, rude, big man came out and was.... what else... but rude to me. "We use fresh crabs, not that imitation stuff... so that comes with it." I don't understand, I've had fresh crab in dishes, and never gotten shells throughout the entire dish. There wasn't just a couple. It was inedible. He didn't want to refund the money on her food, but with a little bit of my pressure - he did. I told him we would NEVER EVER be back. It was very disappointing.
