This is THE place to stay when visiting Aiken. The atmosphere is of friendly Southern hospitality. The food is always gourmet, with a wide variety of choices.
PROS: Great place for a vacation, wedding, formal family gathering
CONS: Not very child friendly, not for those on a tight budget

This restaurant is gorgeous, and it has wonderful food choices. It is an old famous hotel that has been remodeled.
The story is that at least one or maybe more past presidents stayed at the Wilcox. The food is very good, and the atmosphere is wonderful.
PROS: great cuisine
CONS: somewhat costly
