Hair Safari

This place is very unprofessional, the staff is not trained. The so called stylist chopped off a foot of my hair before my wedding. Which I had only asked for 3.5 inches off. He made it sooo short I cried for weeks. Now almost a year later I am finally growing it out. The stylist also wanted to smoke before using a chainsaw on my hair, so he came back smelling gross. He also turned my chair so I couldnt see what he was doing. I looked in the floor when he was done, and he said dont look down, and swept my hair up really quick. It was insane! Dont go if you get a hair cut it is a horrible idea! Waste of money.

I made an appointment at Hair Safari for myself and my daughter as a "Mothers Day thing" for us. She wanted her hair cut and I wanted a foil and cut. When I called I explained to the guy I did not get off until 5pm on that Friday-He said ok 6pm. The girl that was suppose to do my hair calls 2 hrs before the appointment to ask me what I wanted done. I explained to her cut and foil. She asked if I could come by 4 or 5 explained no, I do not get off work until 5. She asked me to see if I could get off early. She states well, I can not do a full foil maybe a partial because we close at 7pm and you needed to come straight to the salon once you get off of work. Well, I made the appointment three days before and all of a sudden on the day of she decides she has no time for us. I think this is very unprofessional and rude. Why would I show up for the appointment for her to speed and mess up just so she can go do what she wants. One thing "she" did not care about was my little girl was very disappointed and it was our special day. She did not realize she was ruining a beautiful and happy little girls moment with her mommy. However I did take her some where else to get her hair cut and she ended up happy!

I scheduled my hair a month in advance, because on prom day Hair Safari is packed. The lady did my hair in a frech twist into curls. She also added the jewelry I had brought and sprinkles some of the glitter, which she provided. I had beach pictures so I wanted my hair up. She put about 50 black hair pins and a ton of hair spray. My hair was gorgeous and was not blown away. I am going back for my senior prom and I highly recomend Hair Safari for any up do.

I went to Hair Safari for 2 days before my wedding day. The stylist and I talked for a long while about what I wanted. I was getting married on the beach which can be breezy so I needed it pulled up. She did a great job on my hair. When I returned the day of the wedding, that stylist was not there- she had quit. The owner did my hair which (for some reason)
put me at ease. I specifically said that I did not want "big hair". I got BIG HAIR. I balled right there. She annoyed me even more when she told me that there was nothing wrong with my hair instead of trying to fix the obvious problem. She was actually annoyed that I didn't like what she did. I did not have time to have my hair rewashed (she shalacked my hair!) and styled again. I had to go home, wash my hair and wear it the normal way. It caused me major stress.
