My family and I went to Myrtle Beach for New Year's and we found Broadway at the Beach and they have everything. They have shops, restaurants, Ice Cream stores and more. It's a great place to hang out when you're visiting.

There are so many magnets. If you are a collector of magnets be sure to stop here. They even have the magnets for your cars here. Family friendly store and price area reasonable.

This is an all-in-one place to go. The whole family can have fun here... from kids to teens to parents! There are tons of great places to shop, including some chain stores. There are ice cream shops and things like that to keep kids happy. There are also these icky fish you can feed for $.25! I'm not sure what kind they are, but there are swarms of them right under your feet (when you cross the bridges.) I really don't like crossing the bridges, especially in stilettos because of the spaces between the boards!! Yikes!! You can shop all day, entertain the kids, and then have dinner at night at one of the many restaurants within this cool place.

So much here.. lots of shopping outdoors, many restaurants, an aquarium, an IMAX theater, a waterway right in the middle, a New Orleans style strip of night clubs and bars in the middle of everything, boating games, miniature golf, and more. You can easily spend days or evenings in this spot and not get bored!

Broadway is lots of fun for every member of your family. There is shopping, movies, mini golf, lots of food, the aquarium. There are paddle boats. Fireworks in the evenings. We always go over here when we go to the beach. Everything is a little expensive, but you are at the beach, so what do you expect.

During a recent visit to Myrtle Beach, our very first stop after the hotel was at Broadway at the Beach. A large complex of shops, restaurants and activities, there's a little bit of everything at Broadway. Parking is free, but crowded - a few minutes of circling the lot will nearly always score a good spot though.

Wide sidewalks run through Broadway, making it wheelchair and stroller friendly. Most of the shops are arranged in such a way that it wasn't difficult to navigate a medium-sized stroller through the aisles, although crowding (especially in the summer months) sometimes restricts movement. The Discovery Store was particularly inpenetrable, and the line at the Build-A-Bear Workshop was an estimated 40 minute wait - more than we could manage with a toddler in tow. There are many specialty stores inside Broadway - toy stores, magic shops, clothing and shoes, even one store devoted entirely to cats - as well as a variety of restaurants (from walk-up kiosks to full service, dine-in restaurants, to include Hard Rock Cafe) and a plethora of family activities, including movie theaters and miniature golf. The Ripley's Aquarium is located here, and is a must-see while at the beach.

Lots of walking awaits at Broadway, so wear comfy shoes - and bring the credit cards, because shopping and dining here isn't cheap. The atmosphere can't be beat, though, with charming shops and water-lined walkways with fish and ducks at every turn. Not an attraction you'd want to visit in inclement weather as you'll be doing most of your walking outdoors.

PROS: Huge variety of stores, food, activities.
CONS: Pricey; lot of walking.

This is a fun day trip for families, weather permitting. Don't consider a visit if the weather is too cold, too hot, or raining because there is a lot of walking to be done. There are stores and shops galore with clothing, toys, art, and novelities. Restaurants range from sit-down with drinks to kiosks with hot dogs. Discount coupons are available at the information desk. Feature attractions include the Aquarium, Imax Cinemas, Hard Rock Cafe, and miniature golf. The walkways are surrounded by water full of geese, ducks and fish. Children will especially getting a handful of bird feed for $.25 from the numerous dispensers and tossing it to the ducks. Holidays are festive with decorations, and there are always fireworks on the 4th of July. Note that this is an expensive place to shop, so watch how and what you spend while there. The walkways can easily accommodate strollers, wheelchairs and walkers. Parking is free.

PROS: Pleasant way to spend the day and window shop
CONS: Crowded during the summer months; Expensive to shop

Not sure where the "Broadway" was, I guess I was expecting shows etc.. but it's basically a tourist destination for those wanting to find a wide variety of restaurants and a place to walk around with their famiiles. With that said, the prices will reflect accordingly.

Personally, I didn't see a whole lot but restaurant. They did have a small child sliding type park. Seems they could offer rides or do more with it. Something besides eating and shopping for t-shirts.

It was fun for a ONE-TIME visit, but otherwise I probably would not go back.
