Skip it. If the kitchen staff can't bother washing their hands after using the restroom you are taking a chance with your health.

This is the best place to go for drinks, but this is the best place to go for food by far.. The food is outstanding!! They have all the Irish food you'd expect plus some other food you wouldn't. The best fish and chips I've ever had. It's my favorite place in SC. Try anything on the menu, it's ALWAYS delicious. The service is great, and the place has a real pub feel. I wouldn't recommend taking kids here during dinner, because it is a bar first and foremost. They have pool and darts too! I'm pretty much a foodie and I know good food, service and value, and this place is the best in Anderson and maybe even Greenville which is close by.

Pros: They can seat big groups, and they have something for everyone, from tuna steaks to fried mushrooms.

Cons: Leave the little ones at home

This is my favorite place in Anderson. Good, fun music. As good as Irish food can be and very good wait staff.

I must say, I've been to pubs all over the world and this one can hold it's own with the best of them. I can't believe how lucky we are in Anderson to have this gem in our own back yard. The food is top quality for it's type and the staff is genuinely hospitable and seems glad to work there. The bartender is poetry in motion - the best I've seen in years - and adds a real touch of authenticty as he's from Dublin. It's a fun and cool, but not a meat market. The crowd is a mixture of families, older people, and young friendly revelers. They usually have top quality folksy entertainment on the weekends and almost never charge a cover. They pepper the year with great seasonal parties and special event concerts. It's the only place in town to be on St. Patrick's Day. I would be surprise if anyone had a truly bad experience at this place. The owners are always there and are very approachable and will bend over backwards to accommodate special requests. I'm only dissapointed when they close for wedding receptions or other groups that rent the place for the day.

You must see some of the live Irish bands that hit this hole in the wall, they're just wonderful. Go in, order yourself a black & tan and get absorbed in the music.
