This company are the biggest thieves around. They increase the facility charge from $3 to $5 (a 67% increase) and then change it to a "gas availability fee" which means that people that just heat with gas have to pay an additional $60.00 a year to them for no additional service. My self, I just ordered a heat pump for my house. No more natural gas for me. There ought to be someone to regulate this kind of thievery.....

The customer is great as long as you do not have to speak to the ladies in the office.

I'm sorry to say but the blonde "lady" is more about what they WILL NOT do for you as opposed to what they can do for you.

would like to have lcgna service for my gas log fireplace,but no,they will not install a meter for gas logs only. I have a perfect past pay record,but they could care less. Maybe my primary heat for a three br home is not enough for them...thanks duke energy for heating my home..

I have to agree with everyone else, here it is almost June of 2011 and they still dont have capabilities to pay on-line, and since they dont you would find they would offer over the phone for free but NO you are charged $3. For what?!?!?
But you have to deal with because its not like you can go somewhere else!

customer service is not good at all...paid a bill in cash 5 days later service people were out to cut off my service??? so, i was asked what the cashier looks like that received my pmt...they had to asked around and someone said there cash drawer was over the same amount of my bill . So i'm thinking, what was she planning on doing with my money?? I know times are hard but this doesn't make sense.

$3.00 to pay your bill over the phone REALLY i'm always on time they never have to shut me off . Its sad that they charge you $3.00 when all they do is press a button.

I think the gas company does a wonderful job! I know when all of my bills are due and if I don't get a bill in the mail,then I will call them.When your bill is due you have 10 days to pay it before you get a cut-off notice.The folks at the gas company are real good people that will work with you.If you get cut-off for some reason or another they will get you back on the same day.Try this with any other utility company,you will be off 2 or 3 days...if your lucky! The gas company can not be responsible for mail delivery.They do have a night deposite box on the side of the building.Again,I think that the folks at the gas company do a wonderful job and I thank them for the service that they provide for us.

I have no problem with the service, but it sure would be nice to have a way to pay online. I do not know of any other utility in the area that does not have an online billing site. 2010 is just a month away, how about getting with the rest of the world.

Guess what? Here it is latter part of 2009 and they haven't gotten up to speed with the times. They have no email, no way to pay online, nothing.

I routinely get a cut-off notice without ever having received a regular bill. When I do get a bill, it is usually within a day of it being due. I understand that the bill is due around the same time every month, so it's not a budget issue, its a matter of joining the 21st century. No on-line paying option (they don't even have an actual web site) is ridiculous to the point of absurdity. Also, having to pay 3 bucks to pay over the phone when there is no on-line option is draconian. At least the lady on the phone was nice.

I haven't had any problems with LCNGA and I've been a customer for almost ten years. I agree that the due date is too soon -- any company that doesn't give at least 30 days to pay has a black mark in my book, but they will work with you on your billing date. I get paid once a month and pay all my bills at the first of the month, so I have arranged with everyone who bills me to put me in the billing cycle that goes out towards the end of the month. Almost everyone is willing to do that if you ask.

Your bill is due every month around the same time. You need to budget around the same time every month. If you do not get your bill in the mail then that is a problem that needs to be addressed to the post office. I have not received bills from places but that does not mean that they are not to be paid.

The service you receive from LCNGA is horrible. Tell me about it! I've been shutoff twice. Once my bill came after my shutoff notice and the second time it never came at all. They just recently started allowing payments with a credit card. I could see if it was a "Mayberry" type town not being up to speed with other utilities but this is a county utility. You'd think they would be a little more current with the needs of customers.

LCNGA provides us with natural gas which is used to heat our hot water heater and until recently was used to heat our home. The natural gas heats a lot faster then electric. The prices on the gas are getting high though. The employees are nice to deal with. The one thing I don't like about them is they only give you a few days to pay your bill once you recieve it. There have been occasions where we have been on vacation and our bill ended up being late because we weren't home to recieve the bill or pay it on time. They need to allow more time to pay.
