The first reviewer was reviewing the wrong church! She was talking about Remount Baptist Daycare which is NOT Portside Baptist Church! I have been to Portside, and it is an outstanding church with friendly people and sound, Biblical teaching. I would recommend Portside to anyone looking for a great church to attend.

Remount Daycare is very close to my home, so I decided to check them out for my newborn last March. I am sorry to say that I cannot recommend them at all. There are two elderly ladies in charge of TEN newborns all day. To me, there is no way they can possibly tend to the feeding/changing/soothing needs of ten newborns. Also, a ~3 month old baby was put to sleep on her stomach with a blanket, which is against AAP guidelines. While I was there, a mother came to pick up her infant and discovered that the child's diaper had a 'blowout' that wasn't taken care of. Trust your own instincts, but please keep this in mind when checking out this daycare!!

PROS: price, Christian atmosphere
CONS: seems unsafe and newborn's needs would not be fulfilled.
