I have been very happy at progressive since I started going there. I wasn't very familiar with exercise when I got started and they have a very comprehensive program for all new members. They all know my name there and they do a great job keeping me motivated. It didn't look like a huge gym at first but they are quick to explain how a lot of there equipment is designed to do multiple exercises. Check it out.

The Center is a fully equipped 24hr gym and fitness center in Hilton Head, SC. We are a part of Hilton Head Health and Wellness and our mission is to provide our members and clients with a comfortable, non-intimidating, and friendly gym atmosphere. We are located mid-island at 2 Marshland Rd and we are easily accessible from all of Hilton Head and Bluffton. We have been locally owned and operated since 1994 and our members have rated us one of the best gyms on Hilton Head Island. Our gym equipment and amenities are diligently maintained and our brands of treadmills, ellipticals, and strength machines include Nautilus, Cybex, Body Masters, and more. Our dumbbell selection runs from 2-120lbs plus we have barbells, Olympic weights, squat racks, TRX, battle-ropes, medicine balls, and more. In addition to the fitness center we also have a relaxation room for stretching, yoga, foam rolling, and calisthenics. Our group fitness room is used for group fitness classes like Zumba, Body Pump, Pilates, and Boot Camps. Out staff of highly qualified and very friendly personal trainers can help you take your training to the next level. We can help you lose weight, tone up, improve flexibility, and reach your strength and conditioning goals. If you are new to the gym, we can help teach you how to get started and make it your own.
