Summerville Ford has courteous sales staff and is a great place to do business. I bought a car and was treated excellent by Elvis as my salesman. He was polite and very helpful and was very knowledgable about his products. He went out of his way to get me a great deal on a preowned vehicle. I would recommend that everyone in the market for new or preowned vehicles should give Summerville Ford an opportunity to earn your business because they have the largest selection of preowned vehicles in SC and NC.
Be sure to ask for Elvis!

I test drives a couple of cars at this dealer. first I noticed every car was really dirty and then each was missing parts, one of the vehicles I drove I thought I was going to die. the brakes on the back were making slot of noise. when I tested the brakes the pedal went to the floor. I freaked out and took the car back driving 5mph and I got in my car and left after some yellng at the salesman. I called the service manager Dana and he was rude and eventually hung up after I pointed out all the cars I looked at had problems. one of them even had two accidents on it's carfax and the sales man never told me. I never would have known. I can't believe I was driving their car and it was not safe and i could have been hurt. stay far away from.

I recommend going to another Ford dealer. I was in the market for a used Ford Flex. They had one on the lot so that lured me in. After a week of the back and forth haggling, they came down to the price I wanted, the whole time telling me how much money they were losing on the deal. During the process, they tried to sell me the vehicle for $7,000 more than it was listed online and didn't want to give me much for my trade-in. We ended up purchasing the vehicle once they matched the price we wanted. Upon receiving the vehicle, we've noticed it doesn't have features that we were told it had and they won't stand behind it. They refuse to make things right. Even the general manager is a joke. The whole time he was telling me he wanted to make me happy and in another breath telling me how he wasn't going to make me happy. I don't know how they stay in business honestly

Bought a used BMW and after driving it home the battery died and the car was overheating. Thank goodness it is still under warranty. This proves that they never had the car checked before they put it up for sale. Stay away from this dealership. Let's continue on this car. Not only the first trip to a BMW service dept. two days later the car was overheating again, back to BMW. 3 days later car still overheating back to BMW. The manager we bought the car from had told me that if after the first trip we had any more problems he would take the car back and we could choose another vehicle. After the 3rd incident we called and that Manager no longer worked there??? The rude individual we spoke to would not abide by the selling Manager's agreement with us. Poor customer service, bad vehicle and I also wonder how they stay in business.

I honestly dont know how these people stay in business. I had a terrible experience buying from this place. After I baught my car from them they really didnt care about me anymore and the sales manager is very unprofessional. We as customers in the low country need to stear clear away from companies like this one and start making these businesses hold a higher standard for customer service. If we continue giving people like this huge profits with nothing in return it is our own fault so please people of the low counrty start demanding quality customer service. I will never recommend this place to any one.

If you're looking for great customer service and an efficient and scam-free environment, Summerville Ford is NOT the place to go. I went in to the dealership on a fairly slow evening, looking for a large foreign sedan or small SUV. Our sales person seemed 'turned on' so I figured he'd come back with some decent cars. I was very specific with the price I wanted to stay under. After being shown almost a dozen coupes, economy cars and compact vehicles, I was ready to just fold my cars and go home, but our guy went in to check one more time, coming out with keys to a 'mystery vehicle' which he would pull around. After waiting for the clown to find the car (which was already sitting out front) I found myself test driving a beat up Camry with an undercarriage that dragged on the ground, shot breaks and bad, deflated tires and an alignment problem. I asked if the guy could clean it up and fix it and come back out to drive it when it was running right, because it seemed like a decent car despite these things. He told me the car was $3000 over what I had told him I would pay. COMPLETE WASTE OF MY TIME!! After reading several reviews after the fact, I've come to realize that this type of thing happens with almost every unsuspecting consumer that walks through their doors - how pathetic. My bottom line - I will never shop here again, never recommend the place, will be reporting to the BBB, JD Powers and Assoc., and every other internet medium that I can find to make sure people stay away from this place. No one deserves the bag of that they are handing out.

We went to Lowcountry Ford looking for a minvan, and found nothing but a hassle. The salesman we worked with acted like he didn't even want to deal with us. He showed us 2 vans. We loved the first one, but when it was too expensive for us to buy, he actually brought us a another van that was not even cleaned up and expected us to want that van instead of a nicer one.
He didn't even want to try and find a way to help us finance the van we wanted at all. He just said "Oh, well if you can't make this HIGH $600 a month payment, we can't help you." We finally went to Jones Ford and got pretty much the same van, just different color, and bigger engine, and over $100 a month LESS than what Lowcountry wanted.
