I have been going to Leiu's for a few years now. I go there for dinner with my family and have never been disappointed. This is the most fresh tasting Chinese food I have ever had. I go there for lunch with clients quite a bit. The service is always top notch, the Peter Leiu and his wife are always found walking around the restaurant and personally ask how your meal is. There is not another Chinese restaurant of its caliber. This place puts the competition to shame! Nice job Peter and Francis.

Waiter was very honest and knowledgeable! We had 6 people in our party and everyone was satisfied from the drinks and appetizers to the dinners and desserts! Must order the banana spring roll!

A delightful local, non-buffet, Chinese restaurant - Lieu's offers a delightful array of food that is sure to please everyone. The service is outstanding and the prices are very fair given the large portions. I would recommend this local restaurant over the PF Chang's chain any day!

The restaurant features recognizably American Chinese food, but unlike the insipid offerings at many other restaurants, Lieu's pulls off the dishes without them becoming heavy or flavorless imitations of what good Chinese food can be. That said don't expect any of the more exotic, and more traditional Chinese fair you would find in a bigger city, but that is hardly a disappointment for the vast number of eaters out there. This place does what it needs to well: serving popular Chinese dishes very well with fresh produce and ingredients.

My husband and I decided to try Lieu's China Bistro while we were in town a week ago- BIG MISTAKE. First of all, the interior looks like an Italian restaurant. What gives? Then, the service was surly, and rude, our drinks and food took forever on a Tuesday night! And, management never came to our table ONCE. The food was sub par. I could have gotten better Chinese food at the China Wok Buffet. A one Star for sure.

This is seriously my all-time favorite restaurant. The atmosphere is fantastic, the service is always amazing, and the food is spectacular. I've had nearly everything on the menu and I've never been disappointed. As for comparing Lieu's to P.F Chang's, first of all, every Chinese restaurant is similar as far as the menu goes. You're obviously going to see some of the same dishes on every menu, but in my personal opinion, Lieu's is far superior. The starter menu has more variety, and Lieu's contains far more chicken dishes than P.F. Chang's - which I love, but they also have a large amount of seafood, duck, beef, steak, pork, and vegetarian options. I recommend the Orange Peel Shrimp, Lieu's Spicy Chicken, Three Delicacies (shrimp, scallops, and chicken), Sesame Chicken, and the Combination Lo Mein (beef, chicken, pork, and shrimp). The restaurant itself is very ambient with dim romantic lighting and very large booths that will sit up to eight comfortably. It's also not a chain (like P.F. Chang's), so if you go and you love it (which you will) be grateful because it's the only one around!

Pros: ambience, service, food, price, nearly everything!

Cons: location is my only problem. It's a little hard to see from Woodruff Rd. because it's right behind Fatz.

Ugh. Lieu's is a complete ripoff of PF Changs, down to every menu item, only everything is battered, deep fried, and has MSG DUMPED on it. They say they do not use MSG...Well, some people who used to work there told me differently. My experience there was that it was overpriced, and was basically just run of the mill Chinese Food.

Thank Goodness they opened up a REAL PF Changs in town!!!
