Lowe's will meet competitor's ads, plus give you an addition 10% off of purchase as long as you have the ad with you. I could not purchase an item advertised at another hardware store as they were always out of it. I had my ad with me. Lowe's price for the item was double what the other store had. After they gave me the competitor's sale price and took 10% off, it was well worth my shopping in their store. I ended up buying two of the item, giving one for a gift.
PROS: Helpful sales people
CONS: Some of the cashier need more training in meeting the Competitor's price.
