Oh wow, after reading some of theser reviews I had to comment. I always make a stop to the Myrtle Beach Flea Market on my trips to Myrtle Beach which number 6 or 7 times a year. While the vendors may all appear to be permanent vendors there are always new ones and some others will have left. There are also daily vendors numerous times, the location near the food court is kept for daily vendors I have learned. I always make many purchases there. The best prices for the best quality at the beach for sunglasses, beach towels, suntan lotion, etc. I always find treasures to take back home and there are several antique dealers there where I have many unique items. There's also great used books to pick up some for reading while at the beach. The personalized booth by the first entrance has beautiful art prints that they personalize with names and a variety of poems. I always stop to see what they have new. My little girl was in Silly Band Heaven with her selection of silly bands. She had every kind of silly band, as well as a huge collection of silly band finger and toe rings and even necklaces to put her silly bands on. She was truly in silly band heaven and we made multiple trips each day the week we were there because new ones were arriving daily. The dollar store in the 3rd building was awesome. Great fishing gear, name brand stuff for cheap. My wife bought a necklace set from a lady in the 2nd building that hand crochets the wire, very beautiful and unique. My whole family including inlaws always look forward to visiting the flea market. We found Foster Grand $20 sunglasses for $5, Replica sunglasses for $5, T shirts for $5, Suntan lotiond for $3, A beautilful framed painting for $10 (from a yard sale daily vendor) NICE Flip flops for $2, We're very happy with our finds over the past couple of years.. Everyone was very friendly, it'a a great air conditioned atmosphere and a FUN not to be missed part of our trip.

The Myrtle Beach Flea Market is a great place to spend several hours shopping. It is the absolute best place to by gifts to take back home. They have the lowest priced MB souvenirs on the Grand Strand. The place is very clean and most of all, climate controlled! The food court food is fresh and very affordable. Some of the best food I had while in MB. I bought a tee shirt and had my design put on while I waited. I paid about a third of what I paid for the same shirt at Broadway. The Native American collectible store has the best prices I've found anywhere in my travels. I also purchased accessories for my cell phone at a fraction of the price I would have paid elsewhere. My husband bought a fishing rod and bait. It was priced so low that we could have thrown it away when he finished fishing and still have gotten a good deal. There were a few used item dealer there, I bought an antique wash bowl and got a great piece of Fenton glass. I also was able to get a bag full of books to read on my journey home for less than $10.00. The dealer who sells pet supplies has some unbeatable prices. I bought a bed for Tippy for half what the pet store had them on sale for. I too came across the guy with the tickets for the shows, only he wasn't selling them but giving them away along with $50.00. All you had to do was take a tour of one of the properties he was promoting. He was no more pushie that the ones you see outside the other places of business along the Grand Strand. The MBFM is definitely not your typical flea market with junk and dirt. I found it to be more like a upscale shopping mall with all the nice amenities and non of the down side that a flea market has such as dirt and weather. Definitely the place to shop for bargains. Will visit on my next trip to MB and recommend to all my friends.

Although this flea market is of a decent size, the shops are all permanent vendors as a previous reviewer said. Which means nothing exciting and no great finds.

If you are looking for quality jewelry, I mean real gold or silver at prices that are affordable and on the up and up, the vendor in the main entrance (Bob and Nina) is the find of the century. I make an annual trip to purchase my birthday jewelry pieces from them. I wouldn't return if I wasn't pleased. Bob does on-site sizing, etc. Super nice, Christian people. Other faves include the tee shirt, lingerie and sword vendors. Great place to go shop, and AIR CONDITIONED with clean bathrooms & snack bar.

Being a long-time flea market lover, I was excited to see the Myrtle Beach Flea Market on one end of a shopping center on our way to Surfside Beach. On the second day of our short vacation, we made it a point to visit.

The flea market - if you can call it that - is large and neatly laid out, with spacious booths and wide aisles that are easily navigated with a stroller. The vendors are all permanent vendors, not random sellers - which means that the available merchandise is all jewelry, perfume, t-shirts, books, etc., with nothing new on a daily basis. Same old, same old, day after day. There are a few interesting shops - Indian-themed apparel and porcelain Precious Moments dolls, for instance - but for the most part, there was nothing I was interested in stopping and looking at. The only purchase we made was a $3 Myrtle Beach t-shirt for my little girl.

Another downside was the ticket-pushers located at each end of the "flea market" that will harass you to purchase tickets to shows and events in the areas. Although I told them I wasn't interested and kept walking past them, both continued talking and pushing. I HATE that.

I definitely won't be visiting this "flea market" again.

PROS: Cheap stuff.
CONS: Same old junk, day after day; pushy ticket sellers.
