I had a bridesmaid dress altered at The Dressing Room and it turned out awful! The dress ended up still way too long and the hem came out within 30 minutes of the reception. I would never go back!

I would never recommend this place to anyone, especially a bride! Do not go here unless you want sloppy, unreliable work.

I wanted to add sleeves and raise the neckline on my bridesmaid dresses. I brought the dresses here and talked with Molly about the work that I needed done. She and I sketched the sleeves and neckline and she went to work. She promised me that after the alteration were completed, the dresses would look like they were designed that way. When I saw the first dress she had done, I was appalled. The sleeves looked horrible and the neckline was sloppy and lopsided. She also tried to hem the dress and it was crooked and twisted. I told her I wasn't happy at all with it and she tried to redo them. When I came, I realized that she was not skilled enough to do the work I wanted and that the dress would never look professional.

I took that dress and all the others from the store and to A Stitch Witch where my wedding dress was being altered. They were embarrassed by the work and showed me all the shortcuts and sloppy work that was done when we were trying to figure out how to fix it. They salvaged the one dress and the rest of the dresses turned out beautiful.

I repeat do not go to the Dressing Room.
