I drove 5 1/2 hours to check this bar out. Only to find a guy stealing pan-spray and huffing it in the bathroom, and one GORGEOUS waitress working her ass off to hurry up and get of so she could unwind. She's real trill too! Hers gets downs! Spottieottiedopaliscious to say the least.Didn't eat there. crypt keeper

This is really a cool little neighborhood joint with a surprisingly diverse menu. Excellent 'bar food' but equally as good are the regular entrees. I've been going in for a couple of years now and the food quality is always above average. I have also found the service to be friendly and fun, consistently. There are plenty of big screen tv's with all the sports, and live music several nights a week. I don't know of a restaurant (or any other business for that matter) that employs humans that don't ever have a bad day, so my guess would be that the other reviewers happened in on a day when someone's dog threw up in their car or the credit card bill was due, etc. My suggestion would be to become a regular so you can try all of the yummies on the menu, and have one of the very efficient (yet supremely hot) servers/bartenders hand you your 'usual' with a smile when you walk in the door.

Although the food, atmosphere and music are usually great, most of the staff have bad attitudes. They seem to hate their jobs. A training course in smiling and customer service for the waitresses would bring the place to a better level. Great food and drinks!

I love this place if I manage to get the right waitress. If not it can be a trying experience.I go there often as my Dauther just bought a house in Brickyard. I treated my family to drinks and dinner there last Friday and the food was outstanding. Unfortunately we didn't get lucky with our waitress. We were served (if you want to call it that) by LeAnn. I would rather spend my time at a denist office than be served by "No Personality Wish I didn't have to be here LeAnn ." I did tip her 15% on my 144.00 bill, but only because I know I'll never have to reward her again for being lackluster.

I have been to The Break Room quite a few times. Their food is really good, and they have a nice selection of wines. My only complaint is the service. I have had great service there, but I have also had horrible service there which is why I give it just three stars. The bar and the decor are beautiful.
