1 Stars: Never Again (by Anonymous A.)

I took both my sons to Dr. Ashcraft. I was told my oldest son had 4 cavities and my younger son had two cavities. During the procedures to get cavities filled I had to pay $35 for a papoose restraint and was told it was for safety. I went ahead and got 2 fillings in my oldest sons teeth and 1 and the younger sons. Stupidly I made an appointment for the other 2 to be filled. I called to cancel the appointment and was told I have to come because it is too hard to reschedule. Thankfully I didn't. I was already uneasy about the papoose and in disbelief they wouldn't let me reschedule. i took my boys to a different dentist and he told me my oldest son didn't have cavities! Now I feel horrible cause he may not have had any at all, it seems like an assembly line in this office and money is the #1 priority not my children's well being. Did I mention I never saw the dentist, do not take your children here!

5 Stars: WAY TO GO DR. ASHCRAFT!!!!! (by Rhonda T.)

I have 3 Children that ARE patients of Dr Ashcraft. We Choose her as our Children's Dentist For many reasons. She has a great persona with the children, Her professionalism with her patients, Her Passion for the well being of her patients as well as the parents. Every time I have been to an appointment, every question was answered. Dr Ashcraft took the time to explain everything to me, to visual show the X-Rays to me regarding my son's cavities in between his teeth. My daughter's both had to have work done for cavities. It was my responsibility as their parent to brush and floss their teeth. So When my child was put into A SECURITY BLANKET, I had no one to blame but myself for this. I understood why the blanket need to be used. I think very highly of Dr. Deborah Ashcraft and her staff. I'm very happy to say when my 3 children came for their 6 month cleaning NONE had cavities. WAY TO GO DR> ASHCRAFT. THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO. I think maybe the problem with these other parents -are they want to blame somebody else for what they should have been doing for their children

1 Stars: "I'm not being rude, you're being rude!"-Ashcraft (by Courtney J.)

My daughter began seeing Dr. Ashcraft in the beginning of '06. At first the office seems like it is very professional. I was told my daughter had cavities and that she would have to be bound in an blanket for "her safety" during the procedure. I was told this would only have to be done the first few times until she gets familiar with the process. I was very skeptical. I also was not able to be with her at all. I let this happen through 2 filling procedures. After both times they raved about how mature she handled the procedure. At the third cleaning I was informed that she had 2 more cavities and she would have to be bound again. I requested that she not have to be bound and Dr. Ashcraft walks in the room, mid conversation, and says "what's wrong?" I told her I did not see why my daughter had to go through that again and she says again... it is for her safety. I did not think it was fair and Dr. Ashcraft got very defensive and came back at me with an attitude. I told her, "you do not have to be rude", and she says back to me, "I'm not being rude, you're being rude." I got my child and walked out of the office feeling stunned at her lack of professionalism. Needless to say that was my last visit.

1 Stars: My 4 year olds first and last visit (by Lesly C.)

I was not surprised when I found out my son had 4 cavities, however, I was shocked to hear the type of treatment he would recieve. He would be bound to the bed by a blanket(which I would have to pay $35 for) with the edges stuffed under the bed! I was told the procedure would take 3 1/2 hours and I could not see him until it was over. Obviously we didnt keep the appointment, and I found another dentist for a second opinion. Come to find out, he only had 2 cavities and the same procedure (without the blanket) would only take 45 minutes.
