Reviews for Pirateland Family Campground

Ratings_icons Great Place

My family stayed a week at Pirateland in July. The campground is right at the beach. The campground was full, but everyone was very nice and respected the rules. Their pool is nice size and they have a lazy river, which was nice. Lots to do and we will definitely return.

We were there around 4th of July and it was great. There were tons of people there but the campground is family oriented and everyone was very nice. They had a golf cart "parade" every night which was really cute too. The pools were nice and they had other things there as well. Its a great place to take a faimly!!

As a child, Pirateland was where we camped summer after summer. There is a putt putt course on site, tennis, swimming, and countless activities. My fondest childhood memories took place right here.

My family stayed at Pirateland campground in June 2005. It was a nice campground. They have a water park in the campground, mini-golf, a camp store, and activities for the kids. They were expensive for the activities that they offered. They were not any better than any other campgrounds activities but they were on average $3.00 higher. The thing my son did not like was everyday from 4-5 in the lazy river was "adult on swim" and it seemed like that was the time he wanted to go swimming everyday. If you can not get a site at Ocean Lakes this is the next best one in Myrtle Beach.
