I would send a animal here because. the Administrators are not very respectful.I wished they would have more respect for there staff.I think that with this kind of work the staff is already stressed. I beleive the staff at Oakbrook are always under stress with the Administrator that they have now. Even the Human Resource Director is under stress. The staff always have concerns regarding there positions. It does not matter that the staff is experiencing illness, They just don.t care. There is DEHEC for the Resident. who is for the staff. I do not who is running this company,they need to be more involed. There is no one there at the nursing home to talk to. We cant talk to our regional Vice President, she is very close to our acting administrator. So what happens is you take the verbal abuse or what they have in store for you, or wait until you are fired. They have such a nasty way of firing an emoloyee. The just insult, embrasses or assiisinate your charater until you feel that you have done nothng to the residents life.No I will never recommend anyone that I know to work there or to place their parents or love one at this facility. Happy employees makes happy and pleasant resident How do you greet and smile when you hate coming to work. If regional will do a survey they will find how many people really feel.But, make sure all employee get to do the survey, not just a select few. Hopefully you will investigate. I am not a disgruntal employee, I dont want the resident to feel the unhappiness from the staff. Most of them are already sad. The staff are there family, at least allow the staff peace of mind and so that a smiling face will make the resident happier.A happy home is a blessed home
