Powderhouse Pet Resort

Powderhouse Pet Resort has been our family's choice for pet care and grooming for the past 12 years. We have had our dog groomed by Shay and Donna since he was a puppy. They are absolutely wonderful and treat my dog as if he were their own. Their interest goes well beyond how clean and well groomed he is and are truly concerned about my dog's overall health and well being.

This past year we needed to board both our dog and cat for an extended period of time while our house was being overhauled. Our house projects ran into extended delays and the entire staff of Powderhouse were so kind to us as people, but even kinder to our animals. Our cat had never been boarded and was not a "social" cat. The woman who takes care of the cats and cat condos was so concerned that she took the time to socialize our cat so that she became a "kennel cat" and would feel as if she were home. Powderhouse cat condos are wonderful and our cat left very healthy and happy.

I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Powderhouse and Philip, the owner. I would not hesitate to leave my pets in their care. Philip cares especially for each animal that arrives, as does the entire staff. I have seen them treat all animals and owners with the same respect that I have received. One of the indications for us about how well they love and take care of their boarding animals is that even though our dog needed to be boarded for four months, he is still happy to go back. Because he has been so well taken care of, he greets the staff like they are family.

My dog had a great time they were extremely polite and took care of all my dogs needs. My dog returned home happy after swimming in their pool with a picture ,a report card ,and a goody bag . They definitely wanted to make me and my dog happy!!!

Powderhouse continues to increase their rates but yet treats the animals with just so-so care. All of my years with them made me move my business, is all about the $$ with them, not the furkids care.
