Best music venue in Charleston. I've seen so many great bands here: Explosions in the Sky, Andrew Bird, Ghostland Observatory, the list goes on. The staff here is pretty good, but the selling point is the atmosphere, even better now that Charleston is non-smoking. Parking is not too hard to find and right off of King St. for food and stuff to do afterward. Truly a gem of Charleston.

The Music Farm may look small, but dont underestimate it. There is more fun to be had at the Music Farm then at the biggest venue on the east coast. Its small setting lets you get close to the artist, its awesome

This place has never impressed me! Although some great bands come through there from time to time. There is nowhere to sit, you leave hot and sweaty(even if you just stand there), drinks are over priced, but you will find that eveywhere downtown! If you like the touching and bumping of strangers hot and sweaty this is the place to go!

The Music Farm is the default center of the Charleston music scene. Has a large capacity and regularly attracts regional and national acts. Good, clean venue with pretty good sound. Many local acts play here as well. The downside is that it's pretty cavernous and there are few places to sit, which makes it a bad choice for a bar (i've only been there for the shows). The drink prices are a bit high as well.
