I wish I could give "negative" stars, like maybe $15's worth of negative stars::

There's no variety to this buffet. It's all chicken. There's no seafood like there was with the previous owners, it's all just poorly seasoned or fried CHICKEN. There is a "vat" of watery spaghetti noodles (not Chinese noodles, SPAGHETTI noodles) with some broccoli and tiny salad shrimp thrown in. Absolutely nasty looking and tasting! Why bother?

The soups are bland and drowning in MSG. (yeah, I know-- they say "no msg!"; but if you have ever cooked using MSG you will recognize blatant overuse of MSG in a dish) The "salad bar" is laughable-- there's 3 types of "mystery" dressing, a pan of lettuce and some sliced tomatoes and onions. The shredded cheddar cheese is absolutely repulsive. Some things must not be skimped on, and cheese is one of them!

The atmosphere is severely lacking, as the people are basically herded like cattle in the door and then back out-- ASAP, chop chop. This is an example of what NOT to do with a business. Especially in its infancy-- this restaurant has only been open for 10 days!

I will continue to drive out to Rivers Avenue to get better food and service. I would not recommend you eat here. Anyone that recommends this as a good place to eat should get their head examined immediately. You would do better to just go down to the takeout place and eat in the car. I don't know who's idea of a joke this was, but this is by and large the worst Chinese food I have ever experienced.

I love Chinese food and this restaurant took over the large building that used to be Shoneys. When we first started going there about 2 years ago the food was good and the restaurant was usually crowded.

The decor was typically what you see in most Chinese Restaurants, with pictures etc. The tables are wood and the chairs are padded green seats. The booths are green.

The food bar is set up in the middle of the restaurant. Most good restaurants keep the food fresh and move it in and out as needed. This restaurant leaves the food under the lights and when it is not busy the food just looks yuckier and yuckier.

The last time we ate there, I told my husband it would be the last. We got there about 7PM and the waitress came to see what we were having. Everyone ordered the bar with Iced tea for the drinks.

The bar had many varieties of foods available. Egg drop Soup, Stir fried rice, beef stir fry, Egg Foo Young, barbequed meat balls. What is generally on a bar of this type restaurant.

I got my plate and I always choose Egg Foo Young, I love it. This time I took a bite and tasted pure grease. I took three napkins and pressed the round piece of Egg Foo Young, the napkin filled with grease in a matter of seconds. Three more times I did this and the grease kept coming.

The other foods that I tried were greasy as well. I couldn't believe that the food wasn't even given a chance to drain before adding to the bar. I would imagine that the grease wasn't hot enought to start with.

The other foods that night looked as if they had been on the bar all day without being freshened.

Believe me I would have to be starving before eating at this restaurant again.

PROS: Food Bar
CONS: Read review too many to list here
