Ark Animal Hospital

The ark told me my 7 year old cat needed to be put to sleep because he had bladder cancer. Turns out he had a bladder stone that needed to be taken out. I found that this stone had been growing there for a long time once I saw another vet. Had the vet just done an x-ray this stone would have shown up, He only did a canine test with my cat's urine and said it was pretty accurate. The staff was mostly friendly here but that is disturbing and sickening that my cat's health was treated that way. There are much more competent vets in Aiken.

When my son needed a professional to trim his parrots wings this vet didn't hesitate to make the appointment. His
confidence with the parrot, who isn't the nicest, was commendable as were his techs and assistants.
His price was fair for first timers and he truly seemed to have a connection with "critters" of all kinds.

PROS: Felt confident with this vet.
CONS: Location can be a challenge due to traffic.
