I rented a duplex from this company almost 2yrs ago. It was priced ok for such a bad area. I have had nothing but issues since i've lived there. Rats, spiders, ants, pluming issues, and no heat this year! I ask them to fix these issues

I read the earlier review and am not sure what that person is talking about. I've dealt with JD Marks for over one year, after they took over a property with serious issues. They have turned the property around. Most importantly, to me,

I do NOT recommend these people. I went with them because they've been in business since 1953 (I think they are using the same office furniture from the day they opened), and I was tired of fly-by-night scam artist LLCs. Initially very friendly and -- like all property management companies who want your portfolio -- they say all the right things. But when it comes to execution, they are terrible. In over six months now, they have not successfully filled a single vacancy, in fact, my situation has gotten WORSE. Sure, that could be my fault... if I wasn't constantly asking them for advice on things like price, marketing ideas, etc. The problem is, they HAVE no advice to give. They either just don't care or they don't know the business, and I suspect it's the former. Jill Berry, the realtor in the office, never answers her phone, and only returns messages when she feels like it, and then the answers are curt and unhelpful. Meanwhile, in six months they still have never even put for rent signs on my properties, they screwed up an eviction, their maintenance man is untrustworthy, their repair people are overpriced, they have no after-hours answering service for tenants (so the tenants will call YOU on weekends) and most unbelievable of all, they don't actually accompany prospects out to the properties! They just HAND THESE STRANGERS THE KEYS to your houses and send them on their way unsupervised! I've got a call in to TREC to see if that's even legal, because I find it shocking. And, by the way, the friendliness disappears if you express your disappointment and tell them you want out of your contract early. They will enforce the clause that requires you to pay them their remaining management fees up front. If you want to co-manage your properties and have to break your foot off in their butts every time you need something done, go for it. Otherwise, steer clear.

His renter houseing is ok .but he need to have more on staff then he do.and he also need to have more people to work on his properties more.and He also need to have his deposit need to be a little more lower then it is now.
