.

I went in to have family portraits done for my husband, myself, and our 4 kids and had a horrible experience. The photographer never explained the charges for portrait enhancements, black and white photos, etc. The photographer never informed me that there was an extra charge for these items, as a result I was overcharged over $60.00 for these features. I paid for all of these portraits up front after taking the pictures. When I came back to pick up my portraits I was shocked to find that I had paid extra for these things. As a result, the manager on duty, ascertained that I was due a refund and wrote on my receipt that I had that as store credit that will never expire. She forgot to tabulate the sales tax into that amount. I paid tax on the whole amount of my order, including the $60.00 that was overcharged, which comes out to about another $5.25 that should have been credited to me. She said I would not be able to get a credit back to my credit card, and only store credit would be allowed. Finally she re-ordered 3 sheets, but put a wrong phone number on the paperwork in order to call me when the order was ready. The employees are highly incompetant and the manager on duty was quite rude as a matter of fact, and must not understand that the customer should be respected and appreciated. Be very careful when dealing with Sears Portrait Studio.
