Went there ready to buy, just deciding on which car. Nothing but a hassle. Salesperson gave me incorrect information every time I talked to her (about 4 or 5 times). Also, salesperson actually started to argue with me about a color and I had to point it out to her in the brochure...she did not know the product line. I thought more of BMW and expected more. Avoid this dealer.

The service advisors at BMW of Nashville are friendly enough if you can ever get one on the phone. However, it's very rare that you will speak to a human at BMW of Nashville. Mostly you get voice mail, and your calls won't be returned. It takes many weeks to get an appointment for even the most routine service, like an oil change. If your car is dead and you need help fast? Forget it. Doesn't matter to them. They very rarely had a loaner car available. Considering what it costs to buy one of these cars, you really don't expect to be treated so badly by the service department. If they did good work, you might forgive their rudeness. But our 745 had all kinds of problems, and they never did get it fixed correctly after many, many frustrating visits. In the end, we traded it for a Lexus just so we wouldn't have to deal with that BMW dealership ever again.

My 2005 X5 had the blower constantly going on and through reading online I learned that it was probably the Final Stage Resistor that had gone (FSR). I had BMW Nashville check to see what was the cause and they told me the electrical and battery were good and that it was the FSR. The cost was $430.00 to install a $79.00 part. 2 weeks later, after parking my car for 3 days while away on a trip I arrived to a dead battery. I brought it to them and was told my battery was the problem and that I would need a new one. I informed them that my battery was still under the one year warranty. They replied that the bad FSR was the cause and that my warranty did not cover this. I countered by showing them that they had checked my battery and electrical system and was told they were fine; therefore, to now tell me that the bad FSR had caused the problem was counter to what I was originally told. They then said that they would like permission to see if there was a "deep draw" on the battery, and if there wasn't then they would agree that the battery was the problem and would replace it. Of course a day later I received a telephone call saying there was a deep draw on the battery and they just couldn't pinpoint where it was coming from. It seems that I am constantly getting the run-around just so as to not have to replace the battery under warranty.
Pros: None
Cons: the only BMW dealership in Nashville therefore no competitio

My 323i was missing terribly. I know it isn't always bad to drive a car that's missing, but this is a BMW. One slight malfunction can domino into a huge repair bill. So I visited the dealership to have them inspect it. The woman at the check-in counter (who seemed none too thrilled to have to talk to a customer) told me it would be a few days before they could look at it. A few DAYS? Yeah, I don't really have a few days. What about a loaner car while I wait? No dice there, either. On the plus side, I did need some parts, and the man working the parts counter was really nice and helpful. Too bad I can't say the same about the woman in service. He's the only reason this place gets two stars from me. I sure hope that people who spend upwards of $50,000 on a new BMW get better, more friendly treatment than I did.
Pros: Thinking...
Cons: The guy at the Parts counter isn't in charge of service.

after telling me I needed new bushings and other repairs totally nearly $4,500, I decided to get second opinion....and I am sure glad i did.
Not only were most of their repair costs double, but they misdiagnosed big time...saying my bushing needed to be replaced. I took it to Autotech and they said my tires were so dangerously worn that that was causing the shimmy and shaking ....not the bushings. My repairs at Autotech were signifcantly less and new tires made my car ride like new again.
I will never take my car to this BMW again!!
Cons: rip-off

The BMW of Nashville service department is extremely poor. I currently drive a BMW 2007 X5 and am thrilled with the car. I?ve owned other BMWs and have been equally impressed with the performance. However, my most recent vehicle was not purchased in Nashville, but in Louisville. I have had a few minor repairs with the car and working with the service team is like pulling teeth. I?ve made reservations to arrive and find out that nothing was entered into the system. The thing that aggravated me the most was that they only had a limited number of loaner vehicles and they would not allow me to have one unless the car was kept for a certain number of days, of course I then watch an individual receive a loaner while she had the car serviced for an oil change. Maybe the service is better if you purchase a car through them, but this experienced has caused me to never purchase a BMW again. I?ve also been assured that their driver would wait for me to take me to work as long as I was at the office at a certain time ? apparently being there 10 minutes EARLY will cause him to leave you and make you 45 minutes for a presentation you are supposed to be giving. There are multiple other screw-ups on their end, but I do not have the time to list them out. I?d rather have a root canal ? good luck if you have to ever deal with them. Also the owner of the dealership is a complete you know what.
Pros: None in the Service Area
Cons: Plenty in the Service Area
