My wife and I was ready to take the deal the salesman had said he thought he could get. When he went and checked they said they took another offer over the phone. They acted like this was normal and was then very rude.

Service dept. at this location is the worst I've ever experienced. They must be paid commission depending on how much they bring in. Gary seriously knows nothing about these cars. We own a 2007 Mini that wouldn't start. Took it in and had to have the fuel pump replaced and while they were at it they found that the timing chain guard was broke and the timing chain would need to be replaced. The car has 47,000 miles??? They wanted $3,500 to do the work. WTH!! I agreeded to let them fix the guard for $500 and got the car back. Fuel pump was under extended warranty but car was 4 months out of warranty. 1,200 miles later the car won't start again. Had to have it towed to Nashville and this time the water pump was replaced because it was under recall but they couldn't really figure out why my cylinders were flooding with fuel. New fuel pump maybe? No, the answer I was getting was the timing chain I didn't repair was the problem or maybe it was that I moved the car from one parking spot to another and the car isn't built for stuff like that. WHAT! I can't move a car from one parking spot to another??? Anyway, they kept the car over the weekend and couldn't find the 'real' problem. Cost us another $500 to test the timing chain and replace the plugs. Maintenance slip states that the car runs as designed. 1,200 miles and 1 month later I can't start the car! Called them back and I'm told from Gary that this is all due to the fact that I didn't replace the timing chain as recommended the first time! After a verbal yelling match I called a local repair shop who agreed to look at the car. As it turned out it was only the battery. First thing they checked considering I couldn't start the car. Gary's $3,500 fix turned out to be a $150 battery. Do every thing you can to NOT take your car to this location. You'll save yourself a ton of money and LOTS of frustration!

BMW of Nashville has horrendous service! Don't buy a car from them. We bought. 328i and had a light come on signaling the doors were open when they were not at 15,000 miles. Service rep was Michael Janca who was unprofessional and hateful.

BMW should be ashamed that this dealership represents them! I have a Bimmer in the Washington DC area as well as in Nashville and the service I receive between the two cannot even be compared since Nashville is so bad. I originally went to this dealer because I wanted to make sure that my X5 would get service commensurate to the quality automobile I feel Bimmers are but instead I have experienced nothing but frustration with these folks. Not only do they not do work on time and within budget, they are impossible to deal with since they never reach out to the customer and when you do finally ??track someone down? they are-to a person-unbelievably rude! Shame on me for having gone there as many times as I have however that will not be a problem since I??ll sell the car before going back. Find an alternative for service!!

No stars at all - The service is the worst I believe I've experience anywhere. In fact, there is no other way to describe it other than a scam. If you're thinking about BMW, I would worn that you do a thorough interview of the service dept. as well, considering once you plop down that money, that's the last you see of the wonderful salesperson. Now you've got to deal with the service dept. and that's a completely different experience.

I ordered a spare key with a remote control. When it arrived, it didn't work (wouldn't program to the car). They had me drive the car over and tried to "fix" the problem. When they were done, my original key that had worked just fine now

Great cars to drive but a bear to own especially if you deal with the service dept. Went in for an Oil change and it cost $1,200 with a multitude of parts needing changing, right after it was out of warranty.
they don't call it Bring My Wallet for nothing.

8/6/2010.
Two years ago my keyless entry stopped working from the key FOB. Because of my experience with BMW of Nashville I tried a Firestone and a ??Foreign car specialist?? to get it repaired. Both failed and said the work needed to be done at the dealer. So I put up with the issue for a year and finally decided to bring it in to BMW of Nashville.
I found their site on line and their ??Service Appointment?? scheduler. I filled it in and scheduled the service for a time convenient for me since I live 50 minutes away from the dealer 8/5/2010. I also decided to have them do some other service that was needed in my appointment besides the Key FOB. So I drop my car off the night before with a typed list of services needing rendered that were also listed on the online form. The appointment scheduled per their service site is for Thursday morning at 7:30AM (Day 1). Thinking that the week notice given with the service request and early drop off time would allow a estimate call back by ??Gary?? my BMW of Nashville Service advisor in a reasonable time frame that day was a very poor assumption. I waited until 2:30PM to call in and see if my car would have the repairs complete for pickup that evening. At this time ??Gary?? lets me know that my Service appointment was not to get my car serviced, but a time to talk with him about my car and the service I wanted done? WHO ON EARTH schedules a service appointment to ??talk about the service? and not DOING THE SERVICE? So after he told me that all the people that came in and sat and are waiting on their car are ahead of me even though I had a scheduled service appointment he called me back an hour or so later with my estimates. Of course the KEY FOB was not able to be estimated yet because they now needed the second Key to help determine the problem. So I dropped my second key off to them on Thursday evening with a note for ??Gary?? to complete the work.
Call again on Friday at 2:30PM (Day 2). They haven??t even looked at it again. I get a call back close to 4PM that Gary and the tech just looked at it and they think the problem is the antenna, but it??s too late to order the part now, so I can have the care back now, but they??ll charge me an extra $100 to take it apart again when the part comes in, or I can leave it with them. I decide to leave it with them (Day 3 and 4). I have the custom hitch on my mini to pull my jet ski, and of course it was a beautiful weekend and my kids were wanting to go to the lake. I??m teaching them about disappointment.
So it is now Monday morning, I call at 8:00AM to make sure the part is ordered. ??Gary?? says it was put in the system Friday (Day 5). I can only cross my fingers at this point. So tomorrow will be The 6th Day. I sure wish Arnold Schwarzenegger was helping me out with this.
Called Tuesday morning at 10AM and ??Gary?? says the part shows that it is on site and he will call when it is all put back together and ??not to worry? it will get done. Still Tuesday and received a voicemail at 1PM while I was in a meeting saying that they have run into a ??Glitch?, but they now know more about the problem. He said he could have the car back to me tonight, but the key FOB still wouldn??t be working. Also, he was heading out to Lunch and had a chiropractor??s appointment at 3PM, but would call me in between. Gary called back at 5:31PM they found the issue is in the liner near the windshield where the leak I took it in for was to be repaired. They have now finally put 1 and 1 together and figured out that the 2004 MINI puts the antenna parts in the liner and hey the leak in the windshield caused the problem.. Wow and these guys are the ones that are supposed to know this car!!! Ha! So anyway they have to break out my windshield, because they can??t reseal, put in a new one and then replace the antenna and it will take another day!
Day 7, car finally repaired and I am able to pick it up after work. Gary is all poppy and excited like they did such a great job figuring out the problem and it only took them seven days! He showed me the seal from a picture on his cell phone like this was some great service. So I am paying full price for a piss poor service. If you own a BMW in Nashville I??m sorry for you. If you can manage it, don??t go to BMW of Nashville for service or purchase!

After calling several dealerships in Middle TN and surrounding areas, I was treated the best and felt the most comfortable dealing with BMW of Nashville. They did nothing short of a fantastic job in helping me get the vehicle I wanted! Over the years I have had a very unpleasant experience buying cars. WELL TIMES HAVE CHANGED AND BMW OF NASHVILLE IS THE PERFECT EXAMPLE OF A MODERN DAY PROFESSIONAL DEALERSHIP!!! The color choices of the CPO 335i Sedan that I was in search of was not a vehicle they had on their lot; however, they went to work for me to find the vehicle I was looking for. My salesperson Nancy Allen kept in constant communication with me during the process. When I saw the vehicle for the first time it was just as she had described; in excellent condition!! The sales process was smooth and I got an excellent deal in comparison to other vehicles I was considering at other dealerships. The car is AWESOME and I will be happy to recommend my family and friends to buy a new or pre-owned vehicle from BMW of Nashville!! Thanks again BMW of Nashville for making this so easy and such a pleasant experience!

My 2005 X5 had the blower constantly going on and through reading online I learned that it was probably the Final Stage Resistor that had gone (FSR). I had BMW Nashville check to see what was the cause and they told me the electrical and battery were good and that it was the FSR. The cost was $430.00 to install a $79.00 part. 2 weeks later, after parking my car for 3 days while away on a trip I arrived to a dead battery. I brought it to them and was told my battery was the problem and that I would need a new one. I informed them that my battery was still under the one year warranty. They replied that the bad FSR was the cause and that my warranty did not cover this. I countered by showing them that they had checked my battery and electrical system and was told they were fine; therefore, to now tell me that the bad FSR had caused the problem was counter to what I was originally told. They then said that they would like permission to see if there was a "deep draw" on the battery, and if there wasn't then they would agree that the battery was the problem and would replace it. Of course a day later I received a telephone call saying there was a deep draw on the battery and they just couldn't pinpoint where it was coming from. It seems that I am constantly getting the run-around just so as to not have to replace the battery under warranty.

My 323i was missing terribly. I know it isn't always bad to drive a car that's missing, but this is a BMW. One slight malfunction can domino into a huge repair bill. So I visited the dealership to have them inspect it. The woman at the check-in counter (who seemed none too thrilled to have to talk to a customer) told me it would be a few days before they could look at it. A few DAYS? Yeah, I don't really have a few days. What about a loaner car while I wait? No dice there, either. On the plus side, I did need some parts, and the man working the parts counter was really nice and helpful. Too bad I can't say the same about the woman in service. He's the only reason this place gets two stars from me. I sure hope that people who spend upwards of $50,000 on a new BMW get better, more friendly treatment than I did.

after telling me I needed new bushings and other repairs totally nearly $4,500, I decided to get second opinion....and I am sure glad i did.
Not only were most of their repair costs double, but they misdiagnosed big time...saying my bushing needed to be replaced. I took it to Autotech and they said my tires were so dangerously worn that that was causing the shimmy and shaking ....not the bushings. My repairs at Autotech were signifcantly less and new tires made my car ride like new again.
I will never take my car to this BMW again!!

The BMW of Nashville service department is extremely poor. I currently drive a BMW 2007 X5 and am thrilled with the car. I?ve owned other BMWs and have been equally impressed with the performance. However, my most recent vehicle was not purchased in Nashville, but in Louisville. I have had a few minor repairs with the car and working with the service team is like pulling teeth. I?ve made reservations to arrive and find out that nothing was entered into the system. The thing that aggravated me the most was that they only had a limited number of loaner vehicles and they would not allow me to have one unless the car was kept for a certain number of days, of course I then watch an individual receive a loaner while she had the car serviced for an oil change. Maybe the service is better if you purchase a car through them, but this experienced has caused me to never purchase a BMW again. I?ve also been assured that their driver would wait for me to take me to work as long as I was at the office at a certain time ? apparently being there 10 minutes EARLY will cause him to leave you and make you 45 minutes for a presentation you are supposed to be giving. There are multiple other screw-ups on their end, but I do not have the time to list them out. I?d rather have a root canal ? good luck if you have to ever deal with them. Also the owner of the dealership is a complete you know what.

Went there ready to buy, just deciding on which car. Nothing but a hassle. Salesperson gave me incorrect information every time I talked to her (about 4 or 5 times). Also, salesperson actually started to argue with me about a color and I had to point it out to her in the brochure...she did not know the product line. I thought more of BMW and expected more. Avoid this dealer.

The service advisors at BMW of Nashville are friendly enough if you can ever get one on the phone. However, it's very rare that you will speak to a human at BMW of Nashville. Mostly you get voice mail, and your calls won't be returned. It takes many weeks to get an appointment for even the most routine service, like an oil change. If your car is dead and you need help fast? Forget it. Doesn't matter to them. They very rarely had a loaner car available. Considering what it costs to buy one of these cars, you really don't expect to be treated so badly by the service department. If they did good work, you might forgive their rudeness. But our 745 had all kinds of problems, and they never did get it fixed correctly after many, many frustrating visits. In the end, we traded it for a Lexus just so we wouldn't have to deal with that BMW dealership ever again.
