Absolutely delicious. Some of the best breakfast food I have had in the south. You can't go wrong with sweet potato pancakes. Awesome, I can't wait to come back again.

We liked this place a lot. The service and food was great. The history was interesting. Would go back if in the area again.

I haven't had breakfast at the Arcade (I don't get up that early), but I live Downtown, so I've been there for lunch, and I HIGHLY recommend the hamburger/cheeseburger there. Toasted bun, at least a half-pound of good ground beef (not a frozen "patty", and it comes with your choice of sides. I was not expecting a burger that size the first time I ordered one, but you will NOT regret eating here. VERY, very friendly people, and great "retro" ambience. This place is worth the trip. (And you will NOT leave hungry - they'll see to that) !

Pros: Oh, that burger !

Cons: None whatsoever

I had heard great things about this place before trying it. However, I was not impressed. The food and service were okay but not exceptional like I had heard. It's a cute aptmosphere but the service was VERY slow and the food was just standard, nothing to great. It's not on the top of my list to try again.

The Arcade has been in M-town for YEARS, is family-owned, and most native Memphians have never heard of it.

It's on South Main Street, which has recently been booming with business and condos, so I anticipate that the place will have (if it hasn't already) a big revival.

The exterior and interior is classic diner, complete with vinyl booths and a gorgeous light-up sign.

The menu's great, offering diner classics, as well as pizza. The food always tastes very fresh and well prepared, but the pizza is most impressive for a diner. My favorite is the Ms. Pollly's Greek Lover. However, it also boasts awesome breakfast. I especially enjoy the French toast.

Price is good, staff is friendly, and it's an overall great place to go for a meal...even if it's just for the history and surroundings!

I have only had Breakfast there but it was perfect. I kept wanting to try what I saw on other tables. Sweet Potato Pancakes and some Egg Casserole. Both look delicious. I'm going back.

The Atmosphere hasn't changed since the fifties. The staff is young and friendly. I understand that every film produced in Memphis uses this Restaurant for, at least, an exterior shot. As a photographer, I think this place is fascinating, full of nostalgia.

The location is across from the Central Train Station and at one end of the Main Street Trolley Run.

Try breakfast and come hungry.

Great Cheeseburger and fries. Well worth your time and money. The Arcade is located on the south part of Main. The area is booming with shops and clothing stores. I am a native Memphian, and I even enjoy going down there. Close to Beale also.

This is a must see since it is a Memphis Landmark. We've been there a couple of time and had the joy of sitting where Elvis had sat. The food is reliable, the service is friendly, but be prepared to wait for your food. When there is a crowd, the kitchen can get overwhelmed with orders. Even though there is a wait for food sometimes, we'd definitely go again.

I traveled to Memphis for a long weekend. I heard about the Arcade from some friends and decided to give it a try. Downtown location is ripe with history and the classic diner atmosphere is great. Unfortunately, it took 40 minutes to get our breakfast. And when we got it, it was cold. Not exactly enjoyable. But the staff was friendly and was really working hard to make us happy. And I could tell that if the food was hot, it would be good. Maybe Ill have better luck next time.
