Rush Fitness Complex

I tried Court South, Bally, and Anytime before going to The Rush because I had heard such bad reviews. Then my wife and I moved 4 months ago. The Rush was right across the street from our new place so I decided to give it a try. Nick called me back the very next day and made sure I came in to check the place out. He never pressured me into any type of membership I didn't want; he simply made me aware of my options. Chris, my trainer, changed my attitude about living healthy over night. I'll be back in six months to let you know if we reached my goals. GREAT PEOPLE, don't let a few rotten apples turn you away from a life-changing experience.

We liked the Rush just fine for several years--it wasn't perfect, but what gym is. Then they up and cut childcare hours, and when we all complained that we didn't have enough time, they were at best uncaring and unresponsive and at worst out and out rude. They don't care about their members at all. Every other gym in Knoxville still offers 2-hour childcare, but if you go to the Rush there's no time to change clothes or take a shower. I get stressed if I have to stop to go to the bathroom even. It really is "the rush."

I have been to the rush a handful of times because of all the promoting they do around town. It was a nice facility, good equipment but I honestly was expecting more. Their staff was not as friendly as other gyms I have been too and there was nothing that really set them apart from other local gyms.

Very high tech facility! Staff are eager and up to the challenge to train and get anyone in to shape! Facility is very clean and spacious! Great for anyone needing an extra boost in their workouts! Great Packages and equipment is state of the art!

I go to this club because of how close it is to my home. I wouldn't say that is any better than the other clubs in my area. I don't feel like it is easy to ask for help on the machines. If you want individual attention you pretty much have to pay for a personal trainer.

The kid kare is okay, but sometimes I go past there and they are running around crazy. Sometimes I would be afraid to put my 2 1/2 year old in there.

I have always found it to clean and comfortable. Sometimes the music is a little too loud and they often interupt the music to advertise something at the club. Which can be a little annoying.
