This is the only library as far as I know in Fayette county, and it is very small. However, the staff are very friendly and seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs. The library has a good offering of new releases, children's literature, a small reference section and holds special events for the kids as well as meeting space for whatever community needs there might be.

I was particularly impressed by my first visit with my son who was 15 months old at the time. They immediately asked me if I had signed him up for the "Imagination Library" sponsored by Dolly Parton and the governor. I was unaware of this program and they quickly filled me in that my son would receive a hardback book in the mail each month from when I signed him up until age 5 courtesty of the state and a grant from Dolly. They provided me with the forms and everything, and we have been getting those great little books since.

This library would be great to serve the needs of a casual reader, or kids. If you need specialty books, are an avid reader or generally need a larger selection this branch will probably not suit your needs.

PROS: great staff
CONS: small selection
