Animal Clinic of North Clarlsville

I have three dogs that I bring in regularly, and I have never been disappointed. Our first dog, a Saint Bernard, was extremely sick and we brought her in during the weekend. She was kept in the clinic for two days, and when we picked her up she was like a brand new dog. I expected to foot a several thousand dollar bill, but it was only about $200 for two nights, IV medications, and antibiotics. The vet came in on her day off to take care of my dog! Our second and third dogs were underweight, sick shelter dogs, and again this clinic took perfect care of them. I continue to use this clinic as I trust the vets and I find their walk in hours very convenient. The staff can give you an estimate of the cost of care BEFORE you decide to go forth with treatment, thus eliminating the "sticker shock" aspect of pet care. I highly recommend this clinic for vet care.

I've been taking my animals here for the last 15 years and never had a problem.I just added another puppy to my 3 dogs I already have and will take her there next week.

I, too, have had horrible experiences with this clinic. Some years ago, I had a dog pass away while in their care overnight and was devastated! She had had surgery after having been diagnosed with cancer some time before this. They wanted to keep her overnight and administered her an IV drip for dehydration. The day I went to get her, they again wanted to keep her overnight for observation. With her condition to the stage it was, I would have preferred that they be honest with me and advise me to just take her home where she could pass away at home in my arms; instead, she passed away alone in one of their kennels. I have never gotten over this! I even had to drive her body all the way to Cadiz, KY from Clarksville (on a warm day) for cremation as they did not provide this service at that time (don't know if they do now). Needless to say, I found it necessary to go look for another vehicle shortly thereafter, as I could not bear to drive that car any longer due to the horrendous memory it held for me. We also took in sick kittens once, and their recommendation was euthanasia (they seemed to not even want to be bothered). On the other hand, All God's Creatures (on Dover Road) helped us in any way they could with these kittens while we were not even their registered patrons! I would never take another of my four-footed loved ones there.

I have been taking both of my dogs to the Animal Clinic of North Clarksville for years. The staff was very helpful when I went in to the office in tears with my sick dog and the two of us walked out of the office later that day feeling much better! When I took my other dog to get fixed, she came home that night a bit groggy, but she was in perfect health. I trust these vets completely.

I went to this Clinic because the one I usually take my dog to did not have an emergency #. NEVER AGAIN.
My 12 year old dog was really weak and the vet we saw that night said she had ruptured her spleen(hemangiosarcoma rupture) . I asked the vet over and over again if my dog would be ok till the morning and she said Yes, probably. This was at 9:30pm at 12:38am my dog passed away.I will never take my animals there again. If you want your pet to die, take it there.

I took my white half-persian cat there to be declawed. When I picked her up I did not even recognize her. She had blood all over her and her paws looked terrible. Another time I had my other cat fixed there and she became sick with a high fever after her surgery. I would not recommend this vet office to anyone.

We went to this vet when my cat was sick we ended up spending about 2,000 on our cat and the vet never found out what was wrong with him. The end result was they told us to put him down. After all that money and 2 years later and that was the answer. I was livied and then they wanted to charge us more to put him down and disspose of him. I was like what did you do with all the money that you have been charging us. Well we went to get a 2nd opion and we got about 1 extra year with him. And then we ended up putting him down.
