The place in small, but the service is big! You can watch the food being made while waiting on your own. This is definitely a Friday night hot spot! Highly recommend! It is worth the hole in your mouth from the hot cheese burn (you could not wait the two minutes to let it cool down). It is thin crust with lots of cheese. The pizza is a little small, so get the large. The large usually feeds 2-3 adults, so go ahead and get two! There are not many beer options. They have a fun juke box for the kids and there is a window to watch the pizza being made. It always seems dark in there, and the bathrooms are down some REALLLY steep stairs. They are open for lunch. For dinner, get there early or go on a week night to avoid the wait. Be sure and buy the t-shirt. It is a tradition! THEY DO NOT TAKE CREDIT CARDS so be prepared. Everyone around loves to go to Big Ed's and on Friday and Saturday nights you can count on waiting outside the door for a table to become available. They really need to expand their dining area and the place could stand to be a little cleaner. Also a big problem is the bathrooms, they are located downstairs...a lot of stairs and they really need to be updated badly. Also if you are handicapped you will have to go somewhere else.
