Get the grease out of the beef bulgogi. Normally I love beef bulgogi but in this case the plate was swimming in grease.

I have eaten at many Korean restaraunts in many large cities, and the food is exceptiona here! I live one hour away and make the drive for the food, especially the Bulgogi. Once you have it once, you will be back for more guranteed :)

Having grown up in Hawaii where Korean restaurants are abundant, I was very pleased to find this restaurant here in TN. The bulgogi is quite different from the ones I'm used to eating and making at home, but that doesn't stop me from dining here at least once every few weeks.

Pros: generous portions, homestyle food

Cons: closed on Sundays, no table grills

Small dining room, so expect a wait after 6. Great, authentic food -- delicious bulgogi, yummy dolsot bibimbap, tasty stews/soups, a variety of sides, good appetizers... Really looking forward to trying the Kimchi Fried Rice soon!! Wonderful service, nice ladies work both in BOH and FOH... Love this place!!

Only Consistent Korean in Nashville. We eat here once a week, Their Soon tofu is always the same Soon Tofu, reliable and tasty, which is important when you psych yourself for your favourite meal and drive up there salivating and are never disappointed. The hostess is superb, funny, efficient and generous with her time for your service. Be prepared to stand in line if you get there between 6.00pm and 8.00pm on weekends.

Having lived in Korea for 7 years, the Korea House is the most authentic Korean food in Nashville. It is also the best I have eaten since leaving Korea over 20 years ago. Thank you!

I LOVE this place. Friendly folks who serve authentic Korean food with a big smile without breaking the bank. Kinda small, but def. worth checking it out. Very generous portions, and the side dishes are simply delicious!

Def. try their Soondubu if you have not yet!

I love Korean food and have eaten in all of the Nashville restaurants over the past 10 years and let me tell you??this is the BEST?.it isn?t even close. Great service, good personal touch. They will even ?tweak? the menu some to give you what you want. The food is served at the right temperature and with the best sides. I now eat here every couple of weeks and I?ve yet to be disappointed.

this is the best korean food i have had in nashville so far. their banchan is the tastiest i have ever had. i especially like the radish kimchi. they are very vegetarian friendly. i usually get the dol sot bi bim bop with tofu. its rice, tofu, vegetables, egg, and a sauce they bring on the side to add to taste. it comes in a very hot stone bowl which makes the rice nice and crunchy. my husband who lived in korea for a while enjoys it also. the restaurant is clean and the service friendly.

Excellent korean food! The kimchi is amazing and service is SO FRIENDLY. The kimchi fried rice is my favorite dish and the side items are alway plentiful and tasty. Servings are huge and the prices are fair. They even serve soju (sp?) which is hard to find liquor that is something like fermented sweet potatoes -- more potent than sake, so be careful!

I've been to 4 different Korean restaurants in Nashville and Korea House is definitely the best. From the beginning of the meal to the end, they've got it right. There is one small dining room that is simple but decorated enough to make you feel at home. Everyone who works there is incredibly friendly and the old granny cooks love to see you enjoy their food.

Korea House's banchan (side dishes that come free with your meal) are the best I've had in Nashville. The entrees themselves are fairly priced for a Korean restaurant (i.e. higher than what you would pay at a Chinese or Vietnamese restaurant, but about on par with a meal at Japanese restaurant) and on top of that, the servings are huge and can easily be your lunch for the next day. My wife and I are vegetarians (but eat fish) and we recommend the kimchi chigae and jampong and all my meat eating friends enjoy the classic Korean bulgogi. The seafood pancake is also really good, though I've yet to eat one at any Korean restaurant that wasn't delicious.

To top it off, they have a cheap selection of American and Korean alcohol.

The waiters are always very friendly and helpful. It can be a little slow when the place is crowded, but it's a relaxed place and I've never felt like anything took unreasonably long.

I knew nothing about Korean food and I looked at the menu with a blank expression. I chose something in the median price range and was surprised when not one but two to go boxes were brought to me. Every delicacy inside was explained and it was my meal for the next 2 days at home. Pancakes were first to go. Expensive anchovies were new to me, but were crispie and tasty. Nothing was greasy. I will return.

Korea house has changed ownership few times in the past two years. But the newest owner is by far the best owner yet. they offer delicious side dishes coupled with generous portions from their menu..

I especially like their chinese entrees.. they are better than those offered by chinese restaurants..

This place makes no pretenses. The surroundings are simple, but what comes out of the kitchen, from the friendly server to the wonderful, home-cooked Korean specialties, are worthy of some of Nashville's nicer establishments.

Make sure you try all of the several condiments served with your dinner. They are likely to include homemade kimchee, pickled garlic and daikon radish, and my favorite, the roasted black beans. Highly recommend are the tasty and meal-sized vegetable pancakes! You'll need a to-go box for most of the meals.
