Stay away from these people. I have been a customer for 11 years and today when I took my small dog in with back problems, I was treated very badly. She needed some xrays and sedation therapy, which was going to take several hours. The nurse was very kind and told me that I could leave and when she was coming out of sedation they would call me to return. On my way out the door, one of the ladies asked me how much deposit I was going to pay before I left. I was shocked. I had been bringing several of my animals there for 11 years and had never been asked this before. I told her that I would pay the entire bill by credit card when I picked my dog up. At this time, a man stepped up and stated that they would not do any procedure without a 50% down payment. Even if I waited in the office (didn't leave) they had to have this up front. That I could be a dead beat, leave and never come back. I told him to GIVE ME MY DOG! The nurse brought me my dog and told me she was sorry. The man followed me to my car, shouting at me that he would get a judgment against me and ruin my credit. I called him a jerk, he told me to get off his property.-------These people are more concerned about there money than they are about ANY sick animal!

Business Response:

Stephen B., We are sorry that you had an unpleasant experience at Animal Clinic East. According to our records, it had been 3 years since your last visit. Our records system will purge those who have not been to see us in 2 years or more. Since it had been so long, we had to recover your information, hence why we asked you to fill out our New Client Information Sheet, so we may obtain updated information. As far as the deposit goes, we will always ask for a deposit from every client who's pet is being left here with us for extensive medical and diagnostic work. This is not meant to single out any client, whatsoever. This is company policy that applies to clients of who may have only been here 3 months to clients who have been coming for 13 years. A written estimate is always given to the client, explaining what the procedure(s) will entail at a low and high cost. And in your case, it was asked that you only leave half of the deposit upfront, and pay the rest upon pick up of your pet. There was never an implication that you or any owner asked to leave a deposit is "a dead beat." We are sorry that you feel this way, but this is not the intention of the company. Prior to asking for the deposit your pet was given a full physical by one of our doctors, which is, as you know, a fee. Upon exiting our clinic, you refused to pay for the services rendered. It was explained to you, not threatened, that if a bill goes unpaid it will be sent to collections as it would be at any other place of business. Again, we are sorry that you had an unpleasant experience with the clinic. If you have any questions or wish to discuss this further, please contact our Practice Director.

I took my service dog to this location for cremation, and the name on her urn came back misspelled. As I didn't want to pay for a service I didn't receive correctly until the mistake had been corrected I asked for a refund until they corrected their error. I was assured by 3 office people (I kept getting transferred) that it could be done but I had to wait 24 hours in order for this to take place. I then called back in their time frame and the Office manager Morris got on the phone and told me that he was refusing my request and then called me a liar. I was then berated by him and told that I could pick up my dogs remains the next morning that they would have the issue corrected. I never received a call back except to accuse me of having someone call them and to threaten to file harassment charges against me with the police when in fact this NEVER happened. I called at 1pm and was told that my dog wasn't in and wouldn't be in until 4pm, at 5 I called back and was told "Oh we were just about to call you". I asked for all of the medical records for my two cats and was given a printout of bills that had been paid, I then had to call for the records and was told that the request had to be approved by the vet.
I am disgusted with them and as my dog was a service animal this only tarnished the dignity she had. I will never take any animal back there and would be careful if you do. Their vets might be ok but their Office Manager is a mean spirited man who gets jollys from harassing people who just lost a dog of 14 years, and their front office doesn't seem to know what they are doing.

Thank you for taking the time to comment during the greaving of your beloved pet. I know sometimes dealing with mistakes can be frustrating when you are greaving. I am so sorry that you felt that the expereince you had with Animal Clinic East was unpleasant. We always do everything possible to ensure that our clients experiences are postive. I am also sorry that the typographical error that was made was outsourced, and unfortunantly I am not able to correct it in house as I tried so many times to explain. Giving us an opportunity rectify was all we asked. As promised we did rectify it. I am sorry the corrected plaque came in a few hours later than we planned. I Know that we did what we could do for you in clinic, and hope that you can understand there are somethings we could not control. I wish all the best. I am sorry for the loss of your service dog.

Our cat just had kittens a week ago, my girlfriend called me freaking out because one of the kittens wasnt eating and not breathing properly and wouldnt really move, I am at work, so I look up emergency care, and call animal clinic east they seemed like they didnt care, before I could really explain what was wrong she said it would be 48 upfront... I was like okay... Can you even help? Our kitten is dying... Heather said if you can get here in the next couple of minutes... REALLY??? Obviously animals are not these people passion...

Elizabeth, Thank you for taking the time to comment, in lieu of the circumstances with your kitten. We value our clients' feedback and strive to make each and every visit to our clinics a positive one. On that note, our company policy is that we obtain the office visit/physical fee upfront for new clients. This then will act as a credit on the client's account until time of check out or until we recieve further direction of treatment from our doctors. This is the first and only time such a charge will occur. With that being said, our office hours throughout the week are aimed at not only being more convenient to our regular clients, but to also be an extended hours clinic, in case of emergency, without having to pay "emergency fees." If we find that our hours of operation might not serve an emergency case properly, we always refer them to the emergency animal clinic, RIVER, which is the reason our employee was concerned about the time. Again, thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback. We hope that in the future we can better serve your pet's medical needs.

I would recommend ACE to anyone!! They have been treating my dog for a ruptured disc and have been very compassionate and wonderful. The first time I took him in as a new patient, I did have to pay up front for the office visit and the balance was collected upon us leaving. They explained that this was only a 1 time thing since he was new patient & I have not paid up front since the 1st visit. When I go to my doctor I have to pay my copay up front.. so what is the big deal about having to pay your office visit up front the 1st time you go there?!?!? I think this is absolutely the BEST vet clinic I have ever been to. They have always been very compassionate & caring. For those of you who say it is all about money... NOT TRUE! I had one vet say my dog needed back surgery for ruptured disc. I ended up here on a weekend for the same issue (as a new patient) and they said they would give me referral, but did not want to see me pay for something he did not need. They have been treating my dog with medication and he is doing better and they helped me avoid at least a $4000 cost. I love this place and I actually have changed my dogs over to them due to the care and compassion they seem to have... they treat my dog like he is one of their own. I have seen several doctors at the office since going there and they are all wonderful. One of them even called me back to discuss my dog and again were very compassionate and took time to answer any & all of my questions. I have never felt rushed or pushed to do anything. This is the BEST vet out there... if you are looking for a place to go, I would highly recommend this place!! :)

I took my daughters classroom bird in because I thought it had broke its leg. Before I could even get her looked at I had to fork over $75, then they look at the bird (literarlly just looked at her) and tell me she just hurt it and will heal on her own and charged me another $80.

Took my newly adopted kitten in for a shot, cost me over $100 dollars. I even had insurance but didn't realize that I had to pay for all the services first then put in claims to be reimbursed.Who can afford that. So basically if she really gets into serious trouble-not only will I not be able to cover the expensive procedures but I guess my kitten will just die on the counter after NOT being seen. I was a little taken back at the way things are done.

I have been using this clinic for years. My children and pets love Dr. Ashley. He and the staff are always courteous and happy to see us. He has helped me with my dog with cancer and he did a wonderful job on my neighbor's dog's ACL surgery. I would highly recommend him to anyone. I am sure that the rest of the doctors are wonderful, too, but I have not had to use them yet. The hours are great, too, and they will always try to fit you in if you do not have an appointment.

I have read all of the reviews listed here and I have to say the ones that are good, must not be real. How can I have such bad experiences with two different animals, yet there are people who say they are so great.
I adopted a dog from the Humane Society and she was sent to Ace to be fixed. I called them and asked them to worm her while they had her. I have to say I did get several calls from the vet tech that day, but I did call them several times myself. I went and picked her up, and they did not give me any directions on how to care for her once I got her home. I had her home for one week and she still had worms crawling out of her rear. I called them to ask them about it. The lady who answered the phone put me on hold for about 5 minutes and when she came back she told me the vet wasn't worried about it because I didn't buy the heart worm preventative. I take extremely good care of my dog and just because I didn't get that from them, did not mean I was not going to give my dog heart worm preventative. I could not believe what I was hearing. I will never let those people treat any of my pets ever again! I will tell anyone I know with a pet about what happened to me and hope they don't take their animals to ACE.
ACE is a horrible horrible place!! If you care about your pets, don't take them to ACE!

I used Animal Clinic East several times over a 4 year time frame. I moved here in 2006 and wanted to find a good clinic for my dogs. I did not find it unusual for the clinic to ask for pmt up front for the office visit, nor did I find it offensive to have the staff ask me to purchase the products they offer. I am fortunate enough to have the funds to care for my pets as I should.
My problem is, when you have clients come in asking for help with a pet who has just been hit by a car and actually have the office personnel , (including the office Manager) turn these people away with a dying pet! The lady I witnessed being treated this way was not someone who just walked in off the street , she was an established client, who always paid her bill when services were rendered. Her only problem was not having the 700. plus up front to perform the necessary procedure to save her pet. I was in the waiting room and as this lady left the office in tears. I did not know her but I offered to take her to another clinic and take care of the bill. I am not patting myself on the back, but trying to make a point... She told them she would have the money the following Thursday..they still turned her away...she paid me back the same Thursday and her pet is happy and healthy again! I understand business....but can there not be compassion involved at some point? I have not since and will not ever visit the Animal Clinic again.

We adopted 2 cats from the Humane Society about 4 years ago. ACE was recommended to neuter my boys and get their shots. ACE did a great job with them and we've used them ever since. Fortunately, we don't have issues with our animals and generally only have to visit once a year. We've dealt with several different doctors there and have a phenomenal experience every time we go.

I adopted two dogs from a local animal shelter and have taken them to ACE for their care. They have been treated for several conditions with care and compassion. Dr. Ashley is the vet we usually see, but Dr. Craven has seen my dogs as well. I'm not sure where the comments about the 'used car lot' enter the picture. I've never felt pressured to buy anything or have any procedure done. Every time I have gone, all options were presented along with the cost associated with each. I really feel like I was completely educated about what was happening every time I took either of my dogs. The only reason I can think of that would explain any pressure would be a life-threatening situation. I cannot imagine a more caring facility and I would never consider taking my animals anywhere else. I would highly recommend this vet clinic!

I think they are very good at their job but I agree that when I go I feel like I am at a high pressured car lot. They do not seem to have the compassion also that I like for my staff treating my animals to have.

Every time I go I feel like I'm being pushed into buying something I don't want. It's like visiting a used car lot. The only reason I frequent this vet is because they're open later than any vets around me and my work doesn't allow me to leave early. I don't hate it, but I would not suggest it to anyone I know.

I have used Animal Clinic East for several of my dogs. I chose them because they have excellent hours and I stayed with them because all of the staff were very compassionate and caring.
I had a dog that had pemphigus and diabetes. Pemphigus is a skin condition that is diagnosed by process of elimination so we were there a lot. I wasn't good at cleaning my dog's sores so Dr. Stanley often did it and she did it free of charge. After several months of treatment, we wound up having to put our dog down because the treatments for diabetes and pemphigus were conflicting. They didn't charge us to have him put down and Dr. Stanley wrote us a very nice letter of condolence and the entire office signed it.
My sister in law took her dog there because he had a massive abscess. Unfortunately, she didn't have the money to pay to have the abscess fixed so she asked me to pay to have him put down. After talking to Dr. Stanley and explaining the situation, we decided to let Dr. Stanley treat the dog. She lanced the wound (which was all over his chest and one whole side of his body) and put in a drainage tube. She charged us for the office visit but did not charge us for the surgery. She gave us the supplies and meds and cost and didn't charge us for follow up visits either.
I really think that ACE is a wonderful animal hospital. It has never occurred to me that they were just in it for the money after all the things they've done for us. I cannot speak for their grooming service but I know that the doctors at the animal clinic are wonderful.

In July 2007 I adopted a puppy from the Humane Society. Just before they sent him to ACE to be neutered I inspected his skin & it was perfect. I asked ACE to groom him while he was there. The groomer sedated him without asking me & charged me extra for it. After I got him home I saw deep cuts all over his body. No one at ACE had mentioned it. I took him to my regular vet & with antibiotics the cuts still took several months to heal. My now full-grown dog hates to be brushed &is terrified of water. I always warn people not to take their pets to ACE.

I know for a fact you are lying. I don't know why you are, but I know for a fact that you are. I work at animal clinic east, and I know for a fact Dr. Craven talks to anyone who wants to talk to him. I'd even be willing to bet money that you're lying about the dog's wounds to make it sound sooooooo bad. If something was wronog with your dog, it would've been fixed or detected. Dr. Craven is a great man who cares about his patients and clients. It's very very very obvious that you're lying about this for some reason unknown to me.

I know all the groomers at ACE as well, and if they cut an animal, it's only because the animal is being stupid and moves so that the scissors accidently cut them. EVEN WHEN THIS DOES HAPPEN THOUGH, THEY TAKE THE ANIMAL OVER TO THE DOCTORS AND THE ANIMAL IS STITCHED UP AND CARED FOR. I know this for a fact because i've seen it happen.

I don't know if you're someone who got fired from this place, or someone who is trying to compete with this place, but I know, and i think everyone else knows too, that you're a horrible liar.

So just keep your mouth shut and don't talk about things that you have NO idea about. It's moron's like you that make this world look and sound like garbage.

I cannot speak for Animal World as we have never had a pet groomed. However, I will highly speak of Dr. Craven. A couple years ago we had a Cardigan Welsh Corgi who had developed a tumor in her stomach. Dr. Craven was quick to diagnose & treat as she was a very healthy animal. We were most impressed one Wednesday evening when we stopped by to visit her. Dr. Craven had just stopped by from church to check on his patients. He told us how he prayed for his patients just like a human would. Our Cleo lived several weeks longer, but her body seemed to shut down. We do not blame the vet or clinic at all for this. They did everything we asked to save her. In addition a week after her death, we received a card with all the staff signing. Dr. Craven even included the most beautiful poem about losing a pet. We are convinced his heart is in his work.
On several other occasions Dr. Craven immediately diagnosed a life threatening condition of our other corgi as well. Had he not been quick to examine and identify the issue we would have lost her as well. She is well & thriving at 17 and we would not take her anywhere but there. If Dr. Craven is out, we would see Dr. Leonard and she is just as great.
The facts remain regardless of who is in a business, they are in it to make a living. Would you do your job for free? Then why do you expect them to? We are very thankful we found ACE and will always highly recommend them to everyone.

Dr. Morgan and the staff at ACE are absolutely wonderful.
Sadly, our first experience with them was when I had to have my great dane put to sleep due to a brain tumor. He had been going downhill daily but I realized it was time to go ahead when I got home from work one day and he was bleeding from the mouth due to the steroids we had him on. Our regular vet that had been making house calls for us was unable to get out here that night and I couldn't stand to see him like this any longer. The girls at ACE said to bring him on. They were VERY compassionate and actually provided a shoulder to cry on. Words cannot express how much I appreciate the way they took care of us that night. Since then, I've returned to have Dr. Morgan treat my new puppy. It's obvious how much she, as well as the whole staff loves animals. I've never had to wait long and the place is always clean. They might not be the cheapest vet out there, and I do know that the prices go up during emergency hours, but during regular hours the prices in my opinion are actually pretty good. I've never wound up paying as much as I thought I would going in. Plus, I got raped one too many times at Shallowford Animal Hospital so I guess I can appreciate ACE's prices. Two thumbs up for Animal Clinic East.

I'll just put this out there, i don't know why people are saying bad stuff about this place, and most of what these people say that are bad are wrong. The place is very clean, and as soon as an animal uses the bathroom in the lobby, someone is there to clean it up. The staff is very nice and very compassionate and they took great care of my dog. If you say it's bad, you must've been drunk or in a bad mood because you lost a game of connect four or something. The place is incredible. When my husband and I took my dog in, they took care of him, and got rid of an absess on his forehead. (And not to mention, the staff there is mostly attractive. The man i got as my "nurse" or whatever it is that gets you into the rooms was very attractive haha. I wouldn't mind getting his help every time i go in, even though my husband would disagree haha.) The place is good. go there, you won't be disapointed

I recently moved to Chattanooga and had an unfortunate experience. My movers accidently dropped a box on my small dog. I had to vet in the area yet. Looked in the phone book, called ACE, they told me to come right up. Yes I was asked for payment of the office visit up front. At first shocked, but was very well explained to by the receptionist that it was my first visit and that I had not yet developed a client relationship. I understood, my dog was seen with in minutes. Dr. Stanley did what she had to do and I was thrilled. The service outstanding, the facility was a wow factor, and the medical team was excellent. Thanks for what you do ACE. you have gained a new loyal client.

I got home from work at 5:45 and saw that my can had a 2 inch hole in the skin of her stomach. Since my vet closes at 6 and the Doctor had already left, I called ACE and told them the situation and that I was on my way. I gave them the info for my regular vet, and they had my cat's records by the time that I got there. Yes, it was expensive but not more than I expected for a dozen stitches especially after normal business hours. The staff was friendly and seemed to care about the condition of my cat. As far as the reports of the facility being dirty, I did not experience that at all. Will they replace my regular vet... probably not. Will I use them for emergency care... absolutely.

I TOOK MY DOG TO THIS VET IN JULY TO BOARD AND HAVE HER GROOMED. WHEN I WENT AND PICKED HER UP I WAS HORRIFIED. THEY DID THE GROOMING ON A SATURDAY AND I PICKED HER UP THE FOLLOWING MONDAY. SHE WAS ALL CUT UP SHE HAD OPEN WOUNDS ON HER THE LARGEST BEING THE SIZE OF A SILVER DOLLAR. HER PAWS WERE SO SWOLLEN. THEY ACTED LIKE NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH HER. I DEMANDED TO SEE A VET AND THAT IRRITATED THEM. THEY SAID THEY WOULD TAKE THE DOG BACK AND FOR ME TO STAY IN THE LOBBY AND I REFUSED I WENT BACK WITH MY DOG. THEY WANTED TO MAKE EXCUSES FOR HER CONDITION AND THAT THEY DID NOT REALIZE THE GROOMER HAD DONE THAT. I TOLD THEM YOU SAID THE ANIMALS ARE CHECKED DAILY BY THE VET IN THE BOARDING AREA, SO THIS TELLS ME THEY DID NOT CHECK SHELBY AT ALL. THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO ME A FAVOR AND GIVE ME MEDICINE TO TREAT THE WOUNDS. BUT THEY WOULD NOT REFUND MY MONEY FOR WHAT THEY DID TO HER. THE NEXT MORNING I TOOK HER TO MY VET IN MIDDLE VALLEY WHO IS AWESOME. I CALLED ANIMAL CLINIC EAST ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS TO TALK TO THE MAIN VET WHICH OWNS IT AND HE REFUSED TO TALK TO ME. HE HAD THE OFFICE MANAGER TALK TO ME AND SAID I COULD DEAL WITH HIM THE JAMIE WILL NOT CALL ME. MY VET HAS TREATED SHELBY SINCE THIS FOR INFECTIONS THAT SHE POSSIBLE GOTTEN FROM THERE. NEEDLESS TO SAY I LOST HER TODAY (8-23-07) BECAUSE THE INFECTIONS WERE TOO MUCH FOR HER. THIS DOG WAS FINE UNTIL THEY DAY I TRUSTED THEM TO BOARD AND GROOM HER. I REGRET THE DAY I WALKED INTO THAT PLACE BECAUSE NOW I HAVE LOST MY BEST FRIEND. IF YOU LOVE YOUR ANIMAL PLEASE GO SOMEPLACE ELSE. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN BECAUSE ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS THE MONEY THEY MAKE.

The people that work at the clinic were so helpful with all of my questions. I am a new pet owner and was nervous about my dog's upcoming spay. They gave me a tour of the clinic. It was very clean and state-of the-art. A technician even took the time to explain all of my options for the surgery. I have read some of the comments below and have to say that if you own an animal you have to be prepared to pay for services. Animals are a luxury! I found the employees to be very helpful and genuinely concerned about the quality of care they provide. I think people have to remember that when services are rendered you are expected to pay. If you can't pay a minimal upfront charge how do you expect to pay for your entire bill??? Sounds to me that you expect something for nothing.

Jacob - yes, people with pets should be prepared to pay vet bills -- BUT on a Sunday or late at night - when it's an emergency, people are caught off guard. Vets that keep emergency hours should realize this - & many do. My current vet has come to my home at different times of day/night & they never charge me til I am in the office next time.
I have had similar experiences such as Tina's - had a vet refuse treatment of my cat because I was on my way home & it was my teenage daughter that took the cat in after it had been hit by a car -- the cat died a painful death because they wouldn't treat her. I'm sure they lost a few customers after I gave my opinion of their greedy practice.
I have to say I am looking for a new vet as I am new to this area, but this one is not looking good to me.
Also, Jacob -- if you are so educated as to work in the medical world - you should check your spelling so that you LOOK educated.

I don't go here often, because I do have a cheaper vet nearby for the standard stuff - but a couple of years ago, one of my cats got outside and I found him torn up days later. It was late evening, so that vet wasn't open. ACE was, so that's where we went.

They stitched him up, and warned me that it was in a spot which would tear open easily, so told me to be very careful and not let him move much. I tried, restricting him to one room... but somehow, even though he didn't seem to be moving much, he tore it open. So I drove him back there, and got him restitched, with a small fee for the restitching.

A day or two later, they tore open again. By this time, I had no money left, and I had a cat that needed to be stitched. I took him back, though I was near beside myself with worrying what I'd do if they turned me out for lack of money.

They didn't turn me away. I explained the situation, and they told me it would be okay and stitched him up even though I couldn't pay that night. And thankfully, that was the last time they tore open!

Dr. Mary Stanley at the Animal Clinic East performed surgery on our dog to remove a large mass in his leg. In the end, the mass was too risky to remove. We received status of our dog's surgery by several different staff members. We never received status from Dr. Stanley. It wasn't until our dog required re suturing that we questioned Dr. Stanley's creditability. The doctor who performed the second round of stitches was very informative and compassionate. However, she, as well as the other staff members, were unable to tell us exactly what was done to our dog during surgery performed by Dr. Stanley. This miscommunication could have been prevented had Dr. Stanley taken some time out of her busy schedule to talk to us. When I confronted Dr. Stanley she blamed the lack of communication on her staff when in fact she was to blame. Dr. Stanley shifted the conversation to a focal point of our dog's test results being negative, and how that was the important thing. Up to that point, news of the negative test results had not been communicated. Once again, we had been neglected and ignored about our dog's major procedure. We had also requested for Dr. Stanley to call us as soon as she returned to work because we were very dissatisfied with the entire situation. We never received a phone call from Dr. Stanley. My first and only encounter with Dr. Stanley was when I arrived at Animal Clinic East to pick up our dog from observation. Our experience with Dr. Stanley at the Animal Clinic East has been horrifying, unethical, and unprofessional. We will not be returning to the Animal Clinic East.

All this vet's office cares about is $$. They do not have anyone's animal's best interest in mind. They selectively collect money prior to service. They must do it on appearance. I just finished working out and I wrote a check and the woman said they couldn't take it. There was $75,000 in that account. It's insanity!

If you truly love your animal you would wisely go elsewhere for your animal's needs. They only care about the almight dollar. Don't cry to me about overhead, you baby. Everybody has overhead but not everybody demands payment prior to service. Would you pay your Dr. before seeing him? By the way, their care is less than adequate. Quite dirty and the technology is antiquated.

Hey Jacob, you wouldn't happen to have an agenda over this issue would you? It's a total conflict of interest for you to even comment in this forum. Go away!

What Tina B. fails to mention is that Animal Animal Clinic is a business and has 100 employees plus. I myself am a medical professional and would not expect my patients to come in to my office without being prepared to pay their bill. We have overhead, staff, and medical supplies to pay for. Although I due empathize with her. She must understand that having animals is a luxury. If you choose to have them you must be prepared to burden the financial responsibility and not hold anyone accountable for that. I am in Animal clinic east 3-4 times a year, and I assure you I find them reasonable and willing to help me anyway possible. Oh yeah i expect to pay for the service that they provide. Best Vet Clinic in town as far as i am concerned. Great hours

We have used 23rd Street Animal Clinic for all of our dogs, Bear first, then George and now Hubble. We recently got a new dog, Scamp who was very sick for 2 days. The Gunbarrel Road office was open on Sunday and went there. When we walked into the office I asked are you the same people as 23rd Street, the receptionist replied they were, and after giving her our name I saw that she had our pets' names on her computer screen all but Bear. We explained what was wrong with Scamp and were informed they had to have $100. This was before Scamp was even put into an examining room. We explained that we could give them a check if they would hold it until Thursday, they said NO. We explained we had spent hundreds of dollars there on Bear, they said NO we need $100 today. I explained we had spent almost a thousand dollars on George there and they said NO we need at least $100 or we can't help Scamp. I explained while holding Scamp as he vomited that I had spent over a thousand dollars on Hubble there please help our dog. They said I'm sorry but if you can't give us any money today we can't see Scamp. I explained " BUt you are our Vet, you guys have taken care of our animals for years (the 23rd Street office). You can look on our records and see how much money we've spent here! " They said no we can't do anything for Scamp if you can't pay TODAY! A technician came from the back and explained that they have a new office manager and she was the one saying that they couldn't treat scamp because we couldn't pay that day. We walked out of that place with intentions of keeping Scamp alive just until the next morning when we could take him to 23rd Street office but Scamp did not make it thru the night even though my husband stayed up with him all night forcing fluids. My opinion of this place is that they are out for money with no concern whatsoever for your pet. They were our pets vet and they let us walk out the door because we couldn't pay them that instant. I invite anyone from that office to deny anything that I have said here. I would not recommend them at all I would discourage anyone from going there.

ACE is wonderful! They are kind and very compassionate. Prices are quite inexpensive. Staff is straight-forward and honest in treatment options. The receptionists are definitely animal lovers. When our dog had some lab work come in on a Friday, the vet called us on a Saturday just to ease our minds. He wasn't even working that day, but had stopped by the office to grab some papers. The hours are great. They are open from 7am to 11pm everyday.
