I leased my car from Crest Honda last October and was very happy with Crest's handling of the whole transaction, including dealing with the insurance company. Ever since, I have visited their service center a couple of times for some minor damage (the plastic panel on the bottom of the door had fallen off) and everyone was super nice and courteous. They fixed the problems quickly and with a smile. Will definitely head there should I have any more issues in the future.
We were looking for specific Honda Accord and I looked a several nashville dealers and got the best deal at Crest. I used the internet sales which made buy a car very simple, I would highly recommend them. This was my second purchase from Crest and I am very pleased
My wife and I have had a number of Honda's all purchased from different dealers as we moved around the country. My wifes last Civic had to be replaced after being in an accident and we wanted to stick with Honda. We looked at a number of dealers in Nashville and Franklin and no one would give me a straight price for the car we wanted. Everyone was trying to get me to come in so we could "discuss" and they could "show us the features." Mind you we've had hondas the last 10 years, we know Hondas and explained we knew what we wanted, we just wanted the best price. No one would give us an out the door price, Crest Honda however did. Within an hour of calling them I had an email with 2 out the door prices for 2 different cars. I called up to validate the total and they confirmed it matched. We went in and test drove the car to make sure we liked the one we saw on line and it was perfect. Sat down to do the paperwork and there was an "optional" charge for security VIN stickers they put on the car but I told them I wanted that waived because I didn't ask for it and they did. They also got me the 0.9% interest which I was surprised I got and I walked away with a better car at the terms I wanted and a smaller payment then we had for a better car (civic replaced with accord.)
I'm really impressed with Crest Honda and can see myself and my wife going back when it's time to replace my Ridgeline.
Great job, great service. Thanks for the easy car buying experience!
I came to Crest to buy my wife??s car last year. With a purchase this big, I was sure she would be full of nerves and anxiety, but the team at Crest put her at ease. They made the process easy and fast. Plus, we knew we got a great deal!
Absolute worst car buying/shopping experience at Crest Honda today...My husband and I were about to pull the trigger on buying a car from here today when a salesman told me that I was "All over the place and needed to go home and figure out what I wanted because I was all over the board". We were looking at either the Civic Sedan, Accord Coupe or the Accord Sedan and we wanted to look at all three - shop the prices - get the best deal and make our minds up. We test drove 2 of the 3 when I asked to go look at the coupe again (NOT TEST DRIVE JUST GO LOOK AT IT) and meet him inside when he threw up his hands and went off on me. We had done extensive research online and at different area Honda dealerships so the next step was to LOOK AT THE CARS AND SIT IN THEM FOR REAL - not just sit at home on the internet.....The General Manager tended to the situation as best as possible and I appreciated his listening but I was thoroughly let down by this experience since I wanted to get a Honda....
First time Crest Honda Buyer this past January, and I was honestly very impressed. I bought a used Odyssey, and I was well taken care of in terms of a lower price compared to KBB, engine and wheel updates (new battery, belts, brakes, flushes, etc.), time to think about my purchase, and absolutely no pressure. You learn right away that they stand behind their upfront pricing, and you tell by the way they interact with you that they know you won't find a better deal. I spent a day trying to find a better deal and I couldn't.
I bought a 2011 Civic from Crest a year ago. I continue to be impressed with the quality of the vehicle and service provided by Crest. They send email updates to remind me when my car needs to be serviced and are always helpful when I call. I especially loved the no-haggle pricing. The price is what it is and I didn't have to fight for a good deal!
Crest Honda gave me a great deal on my new 2012 Honda Civic this past summer. As I close in on my first year of owning this car, I could not be more happy. I also had a great experience buying the car. They worked with me to help me find something that was affordable for me. Service center has been great and about time to go back in for my 10,000 mile check up. Great Dealership with great service and sales staff.
These folks are great to deal with. I bought two Honda Accords with Crest Honda in 2011. I am a hard shopper when it comes to cars. They had the best deals around. I checked 12 other dealers and Crest had the best price. I put Crest to the test and they got an A+. I can not wait until the 2013 Accord comes out. They will get the first shot at my business.- Paul Rosson
I have been buying new cars since I was sixteen years old. I have been purchasing cars from this dealer four five years since moving to Nashville from California. I just returned home today from Crest with my 4th new car. buying cars from this dealer I shopped all Honda dealers within a 50 mile radius of my home. Once I met the individuals at Crest my search was over. I have never had a bad sales or service experience from this dealership in the last five years. Each time I buy a car from Dave and his manger Rick I think that I have reached the epitome of excellence. Then, when I go back the next time for a car, they go another extra mile for me! These guys at Crest are the best! David Galloway, my personal salesperson is the most professional sales person I have ever dealt with at any agency in my life. He not only gives me a fair price but his attention to detail is amazing! I am one person who does not like to sit around an agency all day.
Dave and his counterparts handle the entire buying experience in an expeditious and timely manner. For anyone who is interested in buying a new Honda or a quality used car, I strongly recommend Crest and David Galloway. You can??t do any better than these guys!
Whenever I go to Crest Honda for oil change it won??t take more than 30 minutes.
Excellent customer service. Even 10,000 miles maintenance they won??t take more than what estimated.
We can enjoy popcorn during the time. Kids can play in play room. We can use computer and browse internet. A place where car can be taken care well and we don't get bored while you are at Crest Honda.
After diligently searching for the best car to fit my daughter, I rested my quest at Crest Honda. We came to the Dealership on Saturday, February 25th during a very busy day. Regardless of the high activity, Senior Sales Consultant David Galloway made the buying experience comfortable, easy, and made my family feel at home! At the time, he was juggling two clients (myself and another) and still managed the transaction with ease, which says a lot about his disposition and dedication to his customers. He gave me Upfront Pricing with no surprise fees in the end! Two thumbs up and a Five Star rating! All future car buying experiences will be with Crest Honda!
The manager we dealt with there is clearly a seasoned, top notch sales guy, as he knows how to lay the pressure on thick. With little room to negotiate price, if you do buy a car from them, be prepared to pull out your debating and negotiating skills for a fair deal. Additionally, after buying a low mileage 'thoroughly checked and serviced' vehicle from Crest Honda in Nashville, I found myself spending nearly a GRAND in service repairs in less than 10 days. The service manager when contacted said there was nothing they could do. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else to get your Honda. Great cars, poor service. If you consider their 'thoroughly checked out car' with almost $1000 in service fees in less than a week a great deal then go for it. Just as a side note, they fired my sales guys a few days after my sale. Too bad, since he was the only guy I felt in the deal I could semi-trust.
A good place to buy a car but make sure the rep knows exactly what you want before signing any paper work. I test drove a CRV and decided I wanted it. I told the rep what I wanted my payments to be and he went to work on obtaining the rate I needed to get those payments. Well, turns out the last piece of paper I signed was a lease agreement. I was not satisfied with that, I did not go to lease a vehicle, I went to purchase one. He told me the only way I could get my payments where I wanted them was to lease even though my credit was outstanding.
PROS: nice people
CONS: they think they know what's best for you

Crest Honda sells new and used Hondas and other models. Hondas are great cars and this is a great place to go if you are looking for a car that you want to last you awhile. The sales people want to make a sale but they do not harass you when you walk on the lot. They try to be helpful and give you time to look around. They also have a full body and mechanic shop.
I have been servicing my Honda's at Crest for years, They have always been straight with me and the service is always excellent. I recently wanted to buy a newer car so I went there first. I picked out a 2007 Honda Civic. Everyone involved was fantastic. I went through their Internet dept first. The Internet rep, Ron Veasey was informative and very helpful. He made the whole process totally painless. The sales manager and finance manager were also great. I would recommend Crest Honda to anyone looking to buy a car or get it serviced. They are the best in Nashville!
I have bought two vans from Crest Honda. I think it says a lot for the dealership that I had the same sales guy three years later. If they are keeping employees that long they must be doing something right. The deal was fair and important to me was that I got in and out quickly. I hate spending all day at a dealership. They even sent me a calendar with a picture of me and my van. I thought that was pretty cool. Overall, I would highly recommend Crest Honda.
Pros: great service, selections
The only reason I made an account on this website was to warn people of Crest Honda. If you look at their reviews, they're either "5-stars this place was wonderful!" or "BE WARNED!!". If you use a little logic, you might start to suspect that some of the 5-star reviews are written by their staff.
I went here right after I graduated college, planning on buying a nice, CERTIFIED used Civic. I found the exact car I wanted, we negotiated a price, and as I was preparing to buy the car, the "Manager of the Used Car Lot" came by and informed me that the car that they had pitched to me as a "Certified Pre-Owned Honda" was in actuality, NOT a "Certified Pre-Owned Honda". He informed me of this WHILE I was signing the paperwork. I felt immediately slighted, taken advantage of, and asked them what they were going to do to make up for duping me. The "Lot Manager" said that the only thing they could do was to sell a warranty for an additional 3 grand. When I asked him what I should do, he replied, with a very comforting tone I might add, "I'd still buy that car, even with it not being certified. I mean, since I know the car, I'd definitely still buy it."
Luckily, I walked out. I felt like if that sleeze was still going to try to sell me the car that was OBVIOUSLY not the car that I had originally intended to buy, I wanted nothing to do with them.
I went to another car lot and bought almost the exact same Honda that was certified for the same price that we had negotiated at Crest. The guy I ended up buying a car from told me that they have numerous customers that have had similar experiences at Crest.
They're definitely sleezes at Crest. They were trying to take advantage of me, and I'll never go there again. I'll encourage all of my friends to stay away. I encourage anybody reading this to trust the negative reviews and ignore the positive ones that could have very possibly been written by Crest employees.
On a different note, I love my Honda, and plan on buying many more...Just not from Crest Honda. :)
Pros: Seemed like nice guys
Cons: Strictly after your money.
Our Honda experienced a problem with the torque converter. We purchased the Honda 6 months ago, brand new, from Crest Honda. When we took the Honda into the service department for transmission leaking, the part was not on hand. We were scheduled to leave on vacation the next day. Trent, our service technician quickly understood our issue and partnered with us to develop a win-win situation. To me, this day in time, all dealerships are equal, what separates the best from the worst is their desire to partner with the customer to solve issues. Crest Honda, took this approach and is quickly winning a loyal customer. Crest and Trent, Thank you very much for making this experience as seamless as possible.
Pros: Partnering with Customer to solve problem
I have been to several Honda dealerships with my car and by far, I always receive the best service here. They're always very helpful at explaining what exactly is wrong with my car. I never feel pressured to have any more work than necessary. I'm never worried about if I'm being told the truth. I always feel as if they're giving me their honest opinion. Service crew is great: Bud, Earnest, and Brian just to name a few. Earnest is crazy, but in a good way!
Pros: Night and day difference in my car
Cons: Good work on honda's is expensive anywhere you go
I have bought 3 Hondas from Crest, all at a reasonable deal. Their service department is "top-notch". My regular service advisor Bud is always on top of things with my vehicles. He keeps up with the service they need, and to date I have had no major mechanical issues with any of them. Keep up the good work!
Pros: Honest sales people and great service - Bud's the best!
Cons: Some Honda service requirements are expensive, but this is not a Crest issue.
I have been more dealers than I can count, but since I started going to crest I have never had a concern if I was being told the truth about what my vehicle needed. Bud has been my main service tech and has all ways let me know his honest opinion if was time to trade or fix what I have. Great place to visit I would recommend this as a upscale dealership.
I had the best time getting my car at Crest. The sales people were super friendly. My salesman, Mike M was very knowledgable and funny. I have had my other Honda serviced at Crest to about two years. They are way nicer than the other places I've been in Nashville.
The sales department was very professional and treated me with the respect I expected. For Single women I totally recommend this dealership. I was treated like a dufus at the other Honda dealerships in the area.
I love my new CR-V and I would highly recommend this dealership.
Pros: Great Atmosphere
I took my 97 honda accord in for service last week and the people at Creat were wonderful. I'm very surprised with the previous review, I saw nothing but wonderful honest caring people. I came out of service a happy woman, and I'm looking into buying a new civic after christmas. I'm new to town and live in downtown but I could of went to rivergate or brentwood, glad I choose Crest. I'm giving their business card out to friends, and I will see them again in Feb, when I get my taxes back. Thanks Sara

Pros: It's Honda, what can I say? They are great cars, especially a new one.
Cons: Loads of calls while I was thinking about the car. Difficult to reach after sale was made. Poor service. Pressure tactics.
The customer service was great, very helpful. I bought my 2 teenagers their first cars from Crest, and I received great service both buying each car(3 months a part), and when having my oil change. This is not an old school dealership with high pressure sales, it was a wonderful buying experience. Oh, after you are done buying the car, drive down to the Farmers Market to have lunch, a very nice Market.
I found a number of online "customer" reviews (including at least one here) that were obviously written by Crest Honda staff. The reality doesn't match the over-the-top praise these reviews spew out. I tried to buy a car for my wife from Crest this past weekend, but Crest made that impossible. Everyone we talked to was a new employee - the "senior" guy had only been there six months. They tried every sleazy car-sales tactic on us, and when they finally figured out we weren't the kind of customer to fall for their games, they simply made sure the car was priced so high that we walked. We drove home, found the same car listed at Cookeville Honda, called them on the phone and told them the price we needed. They agreed over the phone, we drove from Nashville to Cookeville, and the deal was done in 45 minutes.
Crest doesn't deserve your business unless they make some big changes to their business.
Pros: Easy to get to
Cons: Sleazy sales tactics, high employee turnover
Not only did they give me more than my car was worth on my trade, and do everything possible to earn my business, they went above and beyond my expectations when an unexpected situation arose. My mother passed away the day after I bought the car and I was to pick up my new honda the following day. Crest was so concerned for my wellbeing that they gave me a loaner car with no questions asked to get home in to handle arrangements. They didn't want to send me back to NC in the car that had yet to be inspected, so just sent us in one of their cars. They were unbelievably compassionate- far beyond what my expectations could have been. I would recommend them over any other dealership I've done business with and they have earned my business for life.
Pros: the people I dealt with were genuinely caring and compassionate people
Cons: no cons
I thought it fitting to let anyone who reads these Reviews to know that the previous review by Mr. Jaco is misleading. He is the service manager at Crest Honda. They are very deceptive and misleading in all of their buisness dealings. It is no doubt that he has recieved good deals and service as he manages the service department. This is just another example of the shady buisness practices used by this dealership. Stay away. The people at Darrel Waltrip Honda are more upfront and honest. Stay Away from Crest if you want to buy a new or used vehicle. it was shady before ownership changed hands and it appears that the same thing continues today
Cons: Misleading every step of the way
I received an unsolicited USPS mail advertisement, which had as its return address:
"SR-14 (Rev 9/06) Processing Distribution Services
2102 Nelson Miller Parkway
Louisville, KY 40223
OFFICIAL BUSINESS - Do NOT DISCARD
YOUR DOCUMENT IS ENCLOSED - OPEN IMMEDIATELY!"
Note that there is NO reference to Crest Honda. On the contrary, the intent of the envelope wording appears to be to deceive the recipient into thinking it might contain something of importance...CERTAINLY not an advertisement and solicitation to sell automobiles.
I might note that I have NEVER purchased an automobile from this firm. I purchased a part for a 1993 Accord approximately 8-10 years ago, but that is the extent of my past experience with them. Therefore, they are likely purchasing addresses from some spam operator or database of some sort; a cold-call process. I am not sure what type of potential customer would respond to such an attempt to deceive as this--certainly not my type!
I, and many of my automobile-buying friends and neighbors, object strongly to such a flagrantly deceptive advertising campaign and will not purchase from a company which participates in one. If they are willing to deceive us in this manner, what OTHER lengths will they go to in order to sell us a product???
I call on Crest Honda to cease this type of ad campaign. It is counterproductive and obviously HURTS, rather than HELPS, in securing business from my family, who are generally enthusiastic concerning Honda automobiles. We have had good service from the company's products.
Charles F. Jones
Cons: See note: deceptive advertising mailer.
I HAVE PURCHASED MANY VEHICLES AND HAD
ALL THE SERVICE WORK PERFORMED AT CREST HONDA. ALWAYS HAD GREAT SERVICE FROM
FRONT TO BACK. RECCOMMEND TO MY FAMILY AND FREINDS.
Pros: FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL, HONEST
