I think that Trim has a very ecletic feel to it and I really enjoyed my haircut. The staff was very personable and friendly. The scalp massage at the beginning is fabulous and the free bang trims between visits is nice. Coming from a person who loves to get their haircut and has been to MANY salons (I think of it as a hobby) I would recommend this salon to anyone!
I have lived in or around the nashville area all my life and it seems when I find someone to cut my curly hair that they get relaxed and spend less and less time and raise their prices more and more. I am not generally picky about my hair but I have to admit having naturally curly hair can be a scary when trying to find some one to cut it. I went to Trim on a recommendation and was referred by the front desk to Merrill. I couldn't be happier. She has a great attitude and truly spends time with me and teaching me new things to try with my hair (i honestly do NOT know how to do anything with my hair) and although i may not try everything (out of laziness :)) i appreciate her thoughtfulness and the energy she puts into cutting my hair. I haven't left disappointed yet and have been going to her for about 2 years. Rachel also does my brows and although it can be painful (i'm chicken) she does the best job and is great at making you feel comfortable. I love both of them and would not/could not ask for better customer service. Don't want to leave out the receptionist and the crew that constantly asks if we are happy and can they get us something to drink. gotta love that !!!I definitely recommend the experience to anyone looking for a great place to help them look beautiful. Ask for Merrill and Rachel (you wont regret it)
Pros: great service, good cuts and fun atmosphere
Cons: price (but it is so worth it)
I can't say enough good things about the staff at Trim Classic!! I have been on a quest for some time now to find a hair salon that is as concerned with the health of hair as much as they are the style. I spoke with Aaron on the phone and she thoughtfully matched me with someone she felt would be best suited to my needs. Merrill was a perfect match. She was extremely patient, sensitive and knowledgeable. She formulated a plan for my haircare needs and discussed thorougly every aspect. Everyone at Trim Classic was friendly and helpful and made what is usually a painful experience for me, a truly enjoyable one!!!Thank you Merrill!!! I have finally found a hairstylist!!
Pros: Stellar Service!!! Knowledgeable and friendly staff!!!
You have to try Trim Classic Barber and Legendary Beauty! The customer service from the appointment desk to the people sweeping the floors is exceptional. I have 7 family members who have all moved to this salon. Every stylist is AWESOME! It's funky, fun and I always feel great when I leave. They even sent a stylist out to care for a family member who is in Hospice care and needed a hair cut. WOW! Not sure anyone else would do that. My family has every kind of hair imaginable from curly wavy thick to thin and straight and the talented stylists handle them all. Imagine getting a thank you call and thank you note- unheard of!! And to think the cost is very competitave with the other 5 or 6 salons I have tried over the past 15 years. It's affordable beauty that makes you feel like you are a superstar!
PS- I have never posted a message before... but they are worth it!
One more thing.. They are open on Sunday and nights! Imagine that!
Pros: easy parking, always on time, delightful staff, quality and value, open on Sunday
Trim is by far the best ever!! My hair is always perfect and Mark is just amazing!! I can be a little particular about my hair and he is always very patient with me. Even though they see their share of celebrity clients I feel like I get the same level of service as they do, which I love! Rachel's pedicures are pure heaven and I am totally addicted! Hair color (highlights & color correction), pedicures and cuts are hands down the best in Nashville. It is a little pricey but is totally worth it....the service is top notch! Mark, Chase, Rachel & Joseph are just fabulous and I would highly recommend checking it out!
Pros: Amazing customer service, highly qualified staff, relaxed environment
i've been going to TRIM for over a year now and STEPHANIE is amazing! hands down the best cut and color everytime i walk out the door. the other stylists/apprentices are always welcoming and eager to assist. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SALON if you want the best salon experience ever.
Pros: atmosphere, quality, smiling faces, great hair!
Cons: a tad pricey but well worth it!
I have been going to Joseph Barnes for about a year now. He was highly recommended at a time when I was very frustrated with the quality of salon services in the Nashville area. I had a habit of trying out a salon for a month or so and then looking elsewhere UNTIL I found Joseph! Joseph is now responsible for my cut, color and brows and they always look fabulous when I leave the salon. Joseph's main goal is to make you look and feel as great as possible and he loves what he does. I will continue to go to Joseph as long as he remains in Nashville and should he decide to move I will probably go there, regardless of my travel time! He's that great! You have to try him! The salon is great too with very convenient parking. Everyone is so nice and they want your entire salon experience to be a great one! I highly recommend Joseph Barnes and Trim..the best Nashville has to offer!!!
Pros: Joseph Barnes, Service, Parking
I LOVED this place after they corrected a very bad color job. Jennifer did my color and she did a fantastic job. She was sweet, friendly, and helpful. The whole staff was friendly and seemed concerned that I had everything I needed. Don't let the fact that celebrities go to this salon make you think its snobby or elitist. The atmosphere is easygoing. The price for my corrective color was worth every penny and comparable to all of the other trendy Nashville salons. If you want a place to fix a bad hair issue -- they are the ones to call!
I visited Trim in February and Jennifer did my color and cut. The salon is beautiful, it is a girly girls dream and the service is outstanding. My haircut is AMAZING and so is the color, however, the prices are a little high, but you get what you pay for.
I absolutely loved Jennifer, she was sweet and down to earth and made me feel at ease and helped me enjoy my experience. She also seemed genuinely happy that I was happy with my hair, which was very endearing b/c some stylists can be a little "cool" in the higher end places. She is thorough as well and really consults you before she begins.
I have to save up the $$ for next time, but I will return!
Definitely worth it!
After trying all of Nashville's "best salons" and being disappointed I stumbled upon Trim, First, the staff members were so polite and helped to accomodate my schedule. My hair stylist Jennifer was quite possibly the nicest hair stylist I have ever had. She asked me what I wanted my hair to look like and then made a few suggestions. At the end of my cut I was absolutely thrilled. This truly is my best haircut yet. Thank you Jennifer for being so helpful. Trim also has really great products! I would recommend this salon to all my friends and family.
Pros: Great atmostphere, friendly staff
I don't get it. I have been a loyal customer of Trim for 5 years. In the past year I have seen my stylist 's prices jump by 50 dollars a visit. No joke! I have seen the time my stylist spends with me shortend to a quick color throw on, and a rushed cut. I called and communicated my concern with the salon manager. He explained they were under NEW management and things would not continue in the manner they had been in the past. My next visit my sylist had left the salon and they had not even bothered to call and let me know. If this is the NEW Trim, stay away. By the way, I found my stylist at her new spot...couldn't be happier.
I know I am not Faith Hill but they took my money for five years. I could have been treated with more respect, even if I am not a celebrity. Shame on you Trim. CR
Pros: Do a lot of famous people.
Cons: Treat regular folks like dirt.
It is just the nature of people to tell you when something goes wrong, especially when it comes to customer service or places we do business; however, people rarely take the time to tell you when something goes right or when someone does an amazing job. That is why I am writing this review.
I started going to Trim Classic Barber in 2003 and was amazed at the professionalism and atmosphere. I was going to meet someone I had met "on line", and when my regular stylist was not available, I was turned over to Joseph. He styled my hair and curled it and I don't think I had ever really liked my hair until that day. I had the Victoria's Secret look and it gave me so much confidence! I ended up marrying the on line guy last November, and Joseph is now my stylist! I always joke around with him about having magic wand, because he can get my hair to do things I never imagined possible, and his personality and personal touch keep me going back. Joseph takes the time to really know ALL his customers and what they want out of their haircut or color. He always makes suggestions and I have always agreed with him because I know he is going to keep me looking as amazing as my hair will allow! Also, he styles my hair differently every time I get it cut to show me different options. I love this!!
Most stylists I have been to in the past have treated what they do as "just a job" and have always simply done whatever I asked them to do regarding my hair, even when it wasn't the best decision based on face shape or other reasons. JOSEPH KNOWS HAIR, and you can trust that he is always going to make you look your absolute best! I now book 8:00 a.m. appointments with him so I can go to work and show off his talents, and I always get compliments.
I would highly recommend Joseph to anyone who wants a stylist they can trust to always keep them looking their best and feeling beautiful! If you want to leave feeling like you've had a make-over, Joseph is your man!
Pros: You always leave looking and feeling absolutely beautiful
Cons: It is more expensive than salons I've been to in the past, but worth the extra money!
I am relatively new to Nashville and have been searching for a new salon. After a few mediocre haircuts elsewhere, I have found Trim and I am not leaving! Joseph did my color and Libby did my cut. My hair looks the best it ever has! I also love the fact that color is applied in a private room so that you don't look goofy in front of the other clients. All of the staff was very friendly and profesional- I can't wait to go back again!
I went to Trim yesterday for the first time and I was extremely impressed. I had heard good things about Trim, but my experience definitely surpassed my expectations. The staff was enormously professional and on top of everything. I love that they are open on Sundays. Mary was my stylist and I absolutely loved what she did. It was by far the best haircut I've ever had. Thanks Mary!
Pros: Open Sundays, Great Price, Amazing Staff
After moving to Nashville from LA, I had a tough time finding a hair specialist that made me feel like a million dollars! I found Trim and I have been there three times in the last week to get color and extensions by Stephanie, and brows by Joseph. I look and feel like a new person! The staff is incredible. Stephanie is not only amazing with hair and extensions, but it is a joy to spend the day talking with her as well. Joseph is lovely and fixed the bad brows I have had for the last 2 yrs since I moved to here. Ben worked so diligently to get me in for extensions before the holidays. The salon bought me lunch, and Bridget was lovely assisting Stephanie and getting my lunch. Everyone is so genuinely nice and caring! I cannot speak highly enough of Trim, and I look forward to many future visits!
Pros: Friendly environment with talented staff! Great location! Easy to park!
TRIM Classic Barber is phenomenal. Their stylists did a beautiful job on our models for a fashion event last week!
I have been an loyal customer of TRIM for 3 years now. Before that I tried every other TOP salon in & around Nashville trying to find the one that catered to it all. TRIM does it all plus more. Sounds silly but I actually feel hip & hot when I leave! My hair requires a lot & my girl, Glory, never lets me down. I never realized I could feel so comfortable at a salon before. But everyone there is so friendly that I have actually made some good friends. The receptionist, Graham, is beyond helpful. And Jana does the best make-up in town. They now have made devoted regular customers out of my husband, 5 of my closest friends & my son's godmother. This place is seriously top notch!
Pros: Style, Service, & location! They are located in the same building as The Mirror Restaurant which has the best drinks in town.
Cons: NONE, they rock!
I havent even been to Trim yet, and im so excited just from my phone call! I just moved to the Nashville area, and was bit nervous about finding a new salon that i felt confident in, after hearing so many good things about Trim I decided to give them a call. The girl I spoke with was beond helpful. She broke down the pricing list for me, by stylist, and service and made sure that I was put with who would be best for me. She also worked me in based on my hectic holiday schedule. After all of that, she stayed on the phone long enough to give me detailed directions so i wouldnt get lost! I cant wait for my visit, I just know it will be awesome!!
I live in Manhattan and visit Nashville for work from time-to-time. Even though NY has plenty of amazing stylists, I always wait to have my hair done at Trim because they just "get it." My hair is very fine and is hard to do anything with... so the way it is cut is very important. I always have a good cut here that grows out really well, and they always give me good advice on how to style it on my own.
Pros: Location, availability, price, style
At Trim, I was not told I was spending 200 dollars for a cut and color until I got to the register. I went to Fruition and was much happier with my treatment there. I paid less than 100 dollars for a cut and color. The hair cutter spent a good 45 minutes giving me a haircut. They did easily as good a job as Trim. Cali spent all of 15 minutes for a 100 dollar haircut. If you do the math that?s 400 dollars an hour- a real John Edwards special.
I hope you don?t treat others this way.
I really was bugged about this.
I went back to Trim to see Mark after another hairdresser destroyed my hair. (I apologize for straying) I felt awful having to show him what someone else had done but he was so lovely and helpful and took the time to think about how best to repair the situation. He went so far beyond just making the haircut liveable, it's actually fabulous and I'm growing quite fond of having shorter hair. Mark is simply wonderful and incredibly professional, as is everyone at Trim. The professional atmosphere and the level of creativity and innovation cannot be surpassed anywhere else. Regardless of the price, it is worth every penny. This is your hair we're talking about, on your head, framing your face for all the world to see.
Pros: The most educated stylists in Nashville.
Before I started going to TRIM, I had never been to the same stylist more than once or twice. I saw Glory for a haircut a few years ago, and I haven't been anywhere else since. The atmosphere is unpretentious and fun. I've gotten to know some of the other stylists and apprentices through frequent visits, and they are all upbeat and seem to love what they do. It makes for a great experience that makes me want to keep coming back.
I have been going to Trim for 5-6 years. I used to love it there until this past year. A few times my stylist had been double booked and so I either had to wait, or she would divide her time back and forth between me and the other person. The circumstance that really did it for me was when my stylist's rates suddenly increased. When her prices went up from $55, she didn't raise mine as I was one of her first clients. I truly appreciated this. But then a few months ago, I went in for my haircut (as I always made my next appointment while I was there), and when I went to check out it was $65. I didn't think too much about it, but really wish I had been told by my stylist that the rate I was paying was going up. Well, low and behold the very next time I went in, I get up to the desk to pay and the receptionist tells me it's $75. I stood there for a minute and said, "well I just paid $65 when I was here last month." Anyway, after I left and got back to work, I called and spoke to the receptionist about this. She stated that rates go up and that's just how it is. (She actually did a nicer job at explaining it, but I tuned a lot of it out as I was a little upset my own stylist didn't even bother to tell me.) All this to say, I was rather upset at the rapid price increase, and I'm no cheapy. I do, however, think $75 is a little excessive to pay for a haircut. But my main problem was that my stylist couldn't even inform me herself. I guess my coming to her for 5-6 years and all the recommendations to friends doesn't matter as much as the money does. I decided not to return to Trim and also to tell everyone I know about my experience and also to never recommend it to anyone. In fact, just the other day a friend of mine booked an appointment there and I told them to cancel and go somewhere else. I believe that Trim has gotten a little pretentious over the years and they care more about their celebrity clients than their regular clients.
Pros: Cute salon, great haircuts
Cons: Pricey, pretentious
Just a couple of weeks ago I got the privilage to be the first ever female MC for Nashvilles Most beautiful Burlesque Troupe, Panty Raid! Their totally 80's theme was right up my alley, seeing how I was afterall, "Made in the 80's!" Part of the deal was that I got to join the grrls at Trim to get my hair and make-up done. I have hair that is lang to the middle of my back and the team at TRIM put my hair litteraly in a mohawk. It was the most georgous mohawk ever. I couldn't believe it was all in there. Watch out 80's cause my look was "bitchen"!!! Not only did my hair look good but so did my make-up. I never knew I had such awesome cheek bones til the make up fella did my face so beautifully. I couldn't have been happier with my awesome look. everyone there was really friendly and super fun. They have proven once again that they can do anything!! Not just a place for haircuts... ANY and I mean ANY special occasion, they can make your mane fit the part!!! Well done... I can't quit showing off those pictures!!!
Pros: they were fun, amazingly talented, super creative
Cons: it took me an hour and 13 minutes to get all that teased hair out!! Which has notyhing to do with how ammazing TRIM is!!
Everyone working at Trim Classic Barber & Legendary Beauty knows what they're doing! As soon as you walk in you feel very welcome and like everyone wants to help in making your salon experience a good one. Panty Raid! Burlesque has been fortunate enough to have our hair & make-up done by them for a number of shows. We have been more than satisfied. There isn't enough room on this page to type all the praise we have to shower on these people! They are wonderful! All 9 of the girls in the troupe get their hair done there on a regular basis and have for years. They are always on the cutting edge of all the fashions and trends. They also have a wide knowledge of classic Hollywood looks too. We've witnessed cut/color and styling classes- all of the employees are highly skilled and trained professionals. When you ask if they like their job, everyone of them say's "YES! I LOVE IT!" before you can even finish the question. You can tell everyone works together and really loves what they're doing. It doesn't matter if you get Cali, Joseph, Glory, or the owner herself - You get treated like royalty!
Pros: TO MANY TO LIST
I recently moved to Nashville from Fort Lauderdale where I received a bad haircut as my going away gift from my hairstylist of a year (guess she really didn't like me). Upon arriving at Trim I felt a complete feeling of comfort as opposed to some of the pretentious salons I have visited in the past. Mary greeted me and immediately wanted to talk about my hair. I explained I hated my "Ms.Brady" haircut that I had been given from my former stylist and she began to explain how she would fix it. I felt I could completely trust her and I am not a trusting person when it comes to my hair. After a massage, great conversation and an awesome blow-out I had a new shiny and sleek style (no flat iron involved). Mary did an awesome job and I truly enjoyed the experience. Thanks bunches Mary!!
I moved from Boston in '89 and had THE best hairdresser on Newbury Street for years on end. It was rough moving so far away from that setup and the trust that was built. I tried salon after salon here in Nashville over the years and was never impressed with any- and honestly gave up on finding anyone who could work well with my hair- until I happen to meet Cali when she did my hair on a photo shoot. Hands down, as long as Cali is cutting hair, I will never go to anyone else. I comfortably sit in front of her and let her do what she wants to my hair. Yes, I trust her skill and vision that much AND my color and cut always look top rate! AND to top it off, working with the Vanity Vigilantes at Trim (before performances) has been absolutely fabulous!!! The entire staff could not be more attentive and professional. Melanie should be incredibly proud that she has such a fabulous crew on board! p.s. Janna and Rachael have out-of-this-world make up skills too!
All of the positive reviews here made me want to go to Trim since it's in my neighborhood. However, when I walked out, I was very unhappy with my cut. Even after being pretty specific about what I wanted, I ended up with a too short, badly layered cut that isn't really fixable til it grows out for a couple of months. I don't consider myself a difficult customer, and frankly the people there were exceptionally nice and friendly, but how my loose/long bang/long layer, "a little more than two inches off" request became a collar length bob with tween-looking bangs is beyond me.
Pros: Friendly staff, cute salon
Cons: A bad haircut.
So I guess there's not much more I can say about Trim that isn't already being said.
I love it! I called two days ago and was able to get right in today.
Libby did such a great job on my cut and I can't wait to let her colour!
Prices are totally reasonable. This isn't Fantastic Sams but trust me, I have paid alot more for worse haircuts.
The scalp massage alone is worth it!
Plus its cute, comfortable, easy to find and get in and out!
Oh, and free bangs trim!!! Awesome!!
First of all, let me say that I called on a Saturday to make my appointment, and I was informed that there were appointments available for Sunday morning, the next day. How many salons offer Sunday appointments??
I have only been in Nashville since September, and Trim was my 3rd attempt at finally getting great color and a great cut. I was marginally satisfied with my previous salon, but I felt as though I wasn't really being listened to in terms of what I wanted my color to look like. I've been going after big chunks of crazy, eye-catching, purply-red highlights to contrast my black hair since I was in high school, yet I always went home unsatisfied, with tiny wine-colored highlights. Heather not only listened to my ideas, she added in her own. Her intuition made her seem more like a mind-reader, and she executed the vision perfectly. When all was said and done, she was just as excited as I was that I'd finally gotten the color and effect I'd been after for years! Heather absolutely earned my trust in those two hours, and I will absolutely be back.
I was skeptical of going to Trim given the "hip" nature of it. A lot of places like this give everyone the same "it girl" hair cut. I was pleasantly proven wrong. From the moment I got there, everyone was polite. My stylist, Heather, was attentive to my concerns, and tailored my hair cut to both what I wanted and what would look best on me. And if the whole experience was not good enough, Heather gave me an amazing style (I would have been happy with the scalp massage and the styling alone). And, to finish off a great cut, Heather's services came to only $40! I left feeling (and looking) as though I should have paid a lot more for the amazing job that Heather did.
Pros: friendly staff, great service
Cons: I wish I knew what kind of shampoo was used
Don't go here! I did and now i have serious problems. Sure the doc says its the chemo, but i know the real story!
Pros: didnt last forever
Cons: way too high!
i went in last week and it was crazy. The salon was shooting a reality show and Jason was my stylist! It was perfect! I could not ask for more. The salon is so cute! A barber shop on one side and a beauty shop on the other. Jason's work on my hair was flawless. Everyone should go to TRIM!
I've had the pleasure of having Brian as my stylist for numerous years now (I actually can't remember how many). I often get compliments on my haircolor, and when I listen to him instead of thinking I know what haircut is best, on my cut as well. He is absolutely meticulous about everything he does(his little foil folds are a work of art. They should really be on display at the Frist), which makes him a bit slower than other stylists. The prolonged visits with him are made tolerable by his personality, and the warm and friendly staff of Trim, and the results. I love the atmosphere of the shop, the products they sell, and the overall appearance. The atmosphere is designed to make everyone comfortable, whether you're a bit modern, down-to-earth, conservative, "yuppie", etc. I cannot imagine going anywhere else.
Pros: Parking is close and readily available.
Cons: Maybe a bit more pricey than other shops, but worth it.
Bryan was recommended to me by the Private Edition ladies; I had just experienced a horrible cut from my former stylist and was desperate to have it fixed. Bryan exceeded my hopes! He turned a terrible cut into something manageable to grow out and now consistently gives me great cuts and suggestions. I have tried all sorts of hair salons from the tiniest to those that seemed to have more staff than customers, and none have compared to Trim. The staff at Trim is always friendly and helpful; usually at least two approach me to offer something to drink and to ask which stylist I'm there to see. I love that it is such a relaxed atmosphere, too. So many salons are so trendy that it can be intimidating when a client doesn't want the latest shag, bob, etc. - whatever the latest trend is. There is no pressure to be something I'm not or to go for a look that just isn't me, nor to buy product every time I visit. I have finally found the salon and stylist that are perfect for me!
Pros: Quality of services, parking, relaxed atmosphere
Cons: Appointments fill up quickly, so rescheduling can be tricky.
I have been going to trim for 5 1/2 years and I love love love it there I moved to the west coast a year ago and I make it back to TN every few months to get my hair done Rodney is the best ever I love him! also Rachel does the most amazing make up and eyebrows I will go there forever!
Pros: Everything about the place!
Charlene is a doll! She is the best hairstylist I have ever been to. Her attention to detail is unmatched. Go to Trim. What more can I say!
Cons: A little pricey, but worth it.
Trim has a great atmosphere and I always love the color and cut I receive. Be sure and book in advance because they are busy!
Joseph is wondeful!!! I've been to several places in the Nashville area and have finally found the perfect place. His cuts are great and his understanding that I am a "cool" and not "warm" makes my hair color turn out wonderful.
Let me just come right out and say it. I love Mark. I love his talent, his eye for what works on my head, and the beautiful brilliant color he gives me. Wherever I go, I am told how much people love my hair, and asked "who does it?" Seriously, I travel a lot, and people are disappointed to learn he's in Nashville - they want him to be local!
How much do I love Mark? I'm moving to DC, and I'm already trying to budget how often I can come back for color and cuts. He's that good.
The salon itself? Conveninent, immaculate and friendly. They really know what they're doing over there on 12th Ave S - awesome location, quality stylists, and excellent service. Kudos to Trim!
Pros: talented, friendly, professional staff that know what they're doing
Cons: none - I've never had a bad experience there
EVERYONE should go to Trim!! (But I'm glad they don't so I can still get an apt!) This is my new favorite hair salon. Mark is absolutely amazing... I have never had a better cut or more perfect, luscious color. Every time I go to Trim I come away blissfully happy and receive compliments for weeks afterwards. Mark even fixed a horribly botched hair cut/color I had gotten from another salon and turned it into something better than what I had originally wanted. My boyfriend is a loyal customer as well. The staff at Trim is charming, competant, and professional, the retro decor is amazing and the service is impeccable. I highly recommend this salon!! It is a bit pricey but WORTH EVERY PENNY!
Pros: perfect service, great decor, hilarious & extremely talented staff
Cons: a little pricey ( but sooo worth it)
I have been to Jason three times. He is dead on with my look. We have changed my cut all three times, and I have never received more positive comments. The conversations are always on point, and I do not feel like "just another client". I am nervous recommending him, only because he is already in such high demand. Bravo, Jason!
Pros: Chelsea's scalp massage. Professionalism. Day before reminders.
I am so excited that I just had to come here and brag. I have had the worst experience in Nashville trying to find someone to cut my hair. I have been to 4 places and no one has been able to give me a great cut. So I finally called Trim. I had been hesitant to call because I heard that they were very expensive but I do believe that you get what you pay for. So I paid a little more , it was totally worth it. Stephanie you have definitely made my day.
Pros: everyone seemed friendly
Trim was a very relaxing and nice place to go. You did not have to move from shampoo girl to cut girl to hair drying girl which was nice. It was like a place should be. Thanks Britt!!!
I went to Trim yesterday and got the BEST COLOR and Haircut ever! Stephanie did exactly what I asked for. My hair looks better than ever. I left feeling like a new woman! I will definitely be back in 6 weeks. I'm so glad to have finally found someone in Nashville.
Pros: Stephanie was very knowledgable and educated!
Rodney is by far the best stylist at Trim! He takes the time to listen to what you want, works with photos and ideas very well. They are definately on the pricey side, but, it is worth it! I also have curly hair and have had stylist in the past chop off WAY too much, but, not with Rodney. I don't like lots of color, just subtle highlights - which he is a pro at.
I just went to TRIM for the first time yesterday. I asked for Merrill because of the good reviews on this website. Let me say, she is fantastic! She knew exactly what I wanted and shared her ideas to make the cut more flattering. They were very nice about getting drinks for people and such. Merrill is so nice, too! I felt comfortable the entire time I was there, and when I walked out, I LOVED my new hair! Go to TRIM!
Pros: stylists, ambience, drinks
I recently got the pleasure of having my hair cut and styled for my birthday at Trim! I was kind of nervous because I'm not all that stylin' but everyone treated me so nicely and made me feel so important. I love my cut, but I still can't get it to look as great as it did that day-- Merril worked some magic! I will definitely go back when I'm ready for a "trim."
Pros: comfortable, unpretentious, professional
when i called to make an appointment, the receptionist acted like she was doing me a favor to get me an appt within a month!! i understand the stylists are supposed to me good, but schdeuling a over month in advance?
