Amigo Mexican Restaurant

It's clean. They have delicious food for great prices. I've taken family from out of town there and they suggest it when they visit now. It's a favorite place for my boyfriend and I to go out to dinner or lunch and not spend a fortune. Mondays and Wednesday nights are fifty cent taco nights, and you will need to get there super early if you don't want to wait a long time because they are packed for the cheap tacos. My favorites are the cheese enchiladas, the cheesedip is amazing, and the Special Guadalajara is very good.

All Amigo's restaurants in Chattanooga have Monday night fifty cent taco nights. The Red Bank location is easily the most popular on Monday nights. The fact that they offer such a special is a good step towards appealing to all sorts of crowds. Older folks and college students, alike, show up on Monday nights. Although the wait is long and recently they have raised their prices they still offer decent food in a decent atmosphere. On other nights of the week they also do well with friendly staff and very quick service. In my experience they keep drinks full and get the check right.

PROS: fifty cent taco Monday nights, beer choices, quick service
CONS: small bar, small TV's, expensive on non-Monday nights

in my oppinion amigos is tied with las margaritas as the best mexican resturaunt in town. The service is always good, and the food is always excellent. The prices are very reasonable especcialy at lunch time. If you go I would reccommend getting the enchalada combo with the beans and rice.

The restaurant on Dayton BLVD may be the newest. It is clean and very popular, so if you are going after work, go straight there.

The food is very inexpensive with 50 cent tacos one day a week. The staff is very friendly and the food comes out very fast.

I like this place because the food is great and really very cheap. We take the kids with little effort. Definitely family friendly
