Sent in a request for information and pricing from the Toyota web site and got a real quick response from Mike Romanello with a few questions. I answered them and in about 20 minutes Bryan Hopper got back to me with full details about a 4 runner that met all my requirements and a price that was pretty close to my target. A little back and forth and we got to a number we both could live with. Two days later I went to the dealership, spent about 30 minutes in the finance office doing the paperwok, and and left with my new 4 Runner. I couldn't be happier!

We contacted four Toyota dealerships. Hibbard Toyota replied within minutes with what was clearly a message written by its Internet Manager and not an auto-generated response, and answers to all our questions. Mike, the Internet Manager, didn't keep bombarding us with daily follow up emails and phone calls but did touch base with us now and then to see how our decision making process was going. He was very helpful. Two of the other dealerships sent us mindless automated messages every day until we blocked them. One dealership didn't bother to contact us at all. When we went to the dealership we found everyone to be as helpful and friendly as Mike was.

I purchased a report from ConsumerReports which provides invoice prices and calculates destination fees etc. I used the recommended starting price for negotiations and received the following email from Mike Romanello, Internet Sales Manager. This was the only rude response I received after contacting several dealerships in the Nashville area.
