We held a baby shower for my sister here and booked the whole section..well we started setting up and the waitress got mad and said that we could only have half of the section which we paid for the whole section to be booked. So we moved to only half of the section and started the shower and ppl were being sat down in there well we were loud bc yea you have fun at a baby shower and those ppl asked to be moved..I hope i never have to deal with that waitress again. She was completely rude. But other then that Justin's is a great place to eat and i recommend it to all of you!! :)

I recently visited Justin's Restaurant and I loved it. The waiters and waitresses were great, they had excellent food (the pasta is to die for), and it was served at a timely manner. I never had to ask (beyond me ordering) for my food. I came with quite a large party as well. Gene, the owner, he seems to be a good man, professional. I don't know about the lady who was with the large gentlemen...Sounds to me like she was determined on having a bad experience before she even walked through the door. As for the one with the babyshower, she came 30 minutes early and brought her own food..? Who does that? Well, as for me, I would recommend Justin's to anyone! Recommended for small or large parties. It is excellent!!!

PROS: Great food, Good service
CONS: They are a popular restaurant and sometimes can be quite busy (but that may just be
a compliment to their food...)

(I learned they also have pool tables in the back and they also have a large TV with some sort of gaming system hooked to it.)

I read the current reveiws and feel that some are bery inaccurate!! I live in Morristown and visit Justin's fairly often. I have had only one bad experience with my service and MANY good ones. Their food is always great. And they have good prices as well. Their potato soup is excelent!! And as for the reveiw about the baby shower... Who books a baby shower in a restaurant and brings the food in?! I don't know any restaurant that would allow that! Anyhow, I think they have great food at good prices!!!!

We held our son's rehearsal dinner at Justin's tonight. We are from Chattanooga so we chose this restaurant based on others' recommendations. This was an excellent choice. Our party of 31 was cheerfully greeted at the front door and shown to a small room that was perfect for us. We were encouraged to move tables together so the bridal party could sit together and the parents and grandparents could sit together. Our steaks and potatoes were excellent and everyone raved over the brownies and ice cream. The waitresses worked hard keeping our tea glasses filled and making sure that our orders were accurate. Our son and his bride were extremely pleased with their dinner as were we. We recommend this restaurant to any parents of the groom who need to host a dinner.

My family and I frequent Justins. We always have a excellent dining experience. Justins has a great family atmosphere. They play christian music and there is no bar which is great. The food and service are consistently good. So from dinner to dessert and from the table to the game room, going to Justins is always a good time. Thanks Justins!

As a newcomer to Morristown, I've heard mixed reviews on this local eatery, but decided to give it a try anyway. The chains do get old after a while.

I was unimpressed with the hostess and the decor as we arrived. For a 'fine dining' establishment, it appears awfully old and run down inside. I was put off immediately and wondered what I'd gotten us into. As we entered, everal of the wait staff stood around near the door, appearing to have nothing to do on a busy weekend evening.

We were seated at a booth, which seemed very inconsiderate, as the friend I was dining with is a larger man and he literally had to squeeze himself into the seat, with the unmoving table making him quite uncomfortable. We didn't ask to be reseated, but I thought it would have been more courteous had we been shown to a regular table, allowing him more room.

Then we met our waitress. I wish I could remember her name, but it escapes me. She was quite young, but didn't seem new to the restaurant. With each course we asked what she recommended, being that we'd never dined there before. Not once did she have any suggestions. All we got was, "oh, EVERYthing is good".

The food was so-so - fatty steaks can happen anywhere, I suppose, and I'd rather have over-cooked pork chops than undercooked ones. Our salads and appetizers were brought out at the same time, and rolls later, which I thought was a bit out of order. The fare was certainly nothing to write home about.

Probably the most unimpressive part of the whole visit was the way our waitress would walk away from our table and begin yelling at another waitress on duty across the dining room. Not a 'hey, come here' or even some type of joking with each other situation, but a scathing 'you messed this up' sort of scenario that obviously had some drama connected to it that we were unaware of, but were exposed to due to the waitress's lack of tact. Very unprofessional and it took away from our being able to relax and enjoy ourselves.

The one positive I can give this review was the to-go carrot cake. Never had better.

i had a baby shower at Justin's on Saturday November 3,2007. I had called a month to a month and a half before the shower to reserve a room for a party of 25 from 1 to 4. We arrive at 12:30 and the hostess takes us back to the dining room. She tell that we can have 5 tables. Okay that fine we will just make do. So i stay bringing in the food i had made for the shower. I fix the tables and set out my food. In a few minutes Gene (the owner) comes to me and says "I didn't know you were bringing your own food." I said "well guess i should have been more detailed when i called to reserve a party." Then he said " Well you going to have to buy drinks or I going to have to charge you ." He then walked away. So, I asked our waitress Elizabeth to go ask Gene what was the charge for the party because if he was going to charge me then i wanted the whole room for my baby shower. Elizabeth then returned to inform me that he said he could not charge me. We went on with the baby shower but it was not long before the manager Mark came to me and said "you aren't allowed to bring your own food. All you can bring is a cake." I said "well nobody told me that when i called and made reservations for this party and i guess i should have been more detailed on what i was going to do and was wanting." Well then he lefted. So we went on with tha shower. Everyone order something to drink and some people ordered food. Well my daughter started opening her gifts, by this time it is about 2:30. Now i was suppose to have the room til 4. At 3:15 Gene walks down the middle of my daughter's shower bends over and points his finger at his watch and then at my face to inform that i was suppose to out by 3 and it was 3:15 and that i needed to get out. That's when other lady that was helping with shower spoke up and said "no we have this room til 4." Gene tells her NO 3. now you have got to go.He then said "I have 65 mad guest up front. He then looks at me and says he can't believe i would do this to him. I then told him told what had just done was rude and his was ruining the shower. He said back to me that i was the one who had ruined the shower. He then said he was going to call the law on us and i told to go ahead. My daughter hurried up and finished opening her presents. Our waitresses could not believe how he had just talked to me and some couldn't believe that he asked me to leave. I truly believe that if i was just a everyday customer that Gene Brooks would not have come and spoke to me in front of my guest the way he did and he would have told us to leave because someone had overbooked. I want him to know that i am not is friend and he is not my. If i EVER go back in that restaurant again that we are not friends. We have never been friends. I was a paying customer and so were my guest. We did make sure the waitresses made some money by tipping.

justin's used to be the best place in town to eat. not anymore. we have had bad service the last 4 times we have been there so last night was it for me. we had to ask twice for our salads and finally they brought them out with our food. i don't know about anyone else but i like my salad first. and then my daughter-in law ordered well done on her steak and it was rare,we sent it back and all they did was pour worcestershire sauce on it and sent it back, still rare.same thing happened with me last time on the steak, and my bill was $90.00 for a family of 5. if i pay that kind of money for food i at least want it good. the most of the problem is untrained waitresses, we ask last night that we not be given a new person and the host said oh this girl is new but very good, well guess not.
