Band of America has a policy of posting your largest checks first, irrespective of the order they are written - this means they have a much better chance of getting you with overdraft fees should you be timing your payments. They also allow some companies to have an instant check cashing ability. This means you don't always have the 3-5 days you think you do - it depends on the company! BOA don't actually give a hoot about you as a customer, just about getting as much money from you as they possibly can!

I have banked here for years. Recently, I went into the Donelson location. They have 2 lines-one for account holders and one for nonaccount holders. The account holders take priority. That is awesome.
