I had a wonderful experience in here, they are very good with handling their customers and the products that they have in here pretty much speak for themselves, great place to get you bike done.

I was looking for a particular part for my bike and I was looking everywhere for a great brand. I found one in here instantly and they also have a great price for it.

As an out of towner with a Dahon folding bike that was damaged by airline baggage handling, I was delighted that these folks took care of my bike while I waited. Very friendly and got me on the road. I felt like I got a big, Welcome to Nashville.

The guys at the shop were really friendly; they explained what I needed fixing and what I didn't and didn't try to oversell. Would recommend them again.

I would agree with the reviewer who said that their post-sales service is not good. My wife bought a new bike, which cost about $650. They offered to do a free tune up after a year, but we were out of the country for the summer. When we came back, it was past 12 months, and they said "sorry, too late." I was really pissed, but when I was looking for a bike for myself, I did look there again, just because it was hard to find bikes in my size. I found one, and bought it, but the brakes squeaked. I came in to get them to resolve the issue, but after looking at it the repair guy said "disk brakes squeak, nothing I can do. actually, it is good to have squeaky brakes so people can year you." With my two experiences, there is a clear difference between how they treat you when selling you a bike, and after you've bought the bike. Luckily, they have a 30 day return policy on bike sales, which I may use. Hopefully, I won't find out that they won't honor the policy they told me about when selling me the bike!

Business Response:

Substantial staff changes have been made since this review. We've been working hard to improve our business and hire staff who understand service after the sale is just as important as making the sale in the first place.
.

Staff is very interested in selling you a bike but are not well trained in providing you a satisfying buying experience. I did not receive an owners manual nor any information about the bike warranty. I had to visit the store a second time to obtain this information and they were not as helpful as when they were selling me a bike. The initial sell of the bike seems more important than maintaining good customer service and customer relations. Too bad, it should not be that hard.

I have had mixed experience here. I have gone and receive good service but recently came in make some small purchases for bike parts and a guy on staff named Mike L immediately started making re-adjustments on my sample wheel. I had to make a second trip to get him to fix the problem he created. He very rude and dropped my parts on the floor and said "There". Very Unprofessional and awful customer service. No apologies. I don't want to business with people with larger dollar transactions who don't appreciate my small ones.

Business Response:

The mechanic's employment at the Bike Pedlar ended soon after this incident was called to the owner's attention.

I bought my bike here and was very pleased with the price and service that I received. I shopped around quite a bit before purchasing from this store, and found them to be quite reasonable for the merchandise that they carry. They have a wide variety of accessories as well as bikes. The staff is courteous and friendly.

This bike store is located in downtown Nashville and is easy to locate. They have a friendly knowledgable staff, and a wide variety of merchandise. The bikes and accessories are reasonably priced and the employees were quite helpful. The store is clean, and has ample parking. We would use this store again.

This is the same bike shop as Bike Pedler, don't be fooled. It's usually spelled that way, but since someone got it on here wrong I thought I'd add my post to both:

The one lament about this and many other bike shops in Nashville is that they do not carry used bikes. What's up with that? I mean seriously? I would love to go to one of these bike shops and get a used bike at a decent price. Instead they start at about $400
