Epiphany Salon & Day Spa

I've been to Epiphany twice and each visit was ok. There's something cold about the building and the interior. The staff is not overly warm because they try to be too professional which is ridiculous for Chattanooga. I am talking about reception staff to services staff. It's almost like the staff just graduated and this is the first place they've worked. There was one great person, Angela, who did incredible facials, but I understand she is gone now. I will be going back but only because my husband got me a gift certificate. I do think their prices are high for the level of staff experience.

Cons: Not welcoming or warm

I moved to Chattanooga 2 months ago and have been looking for just the right place for personal services. Ive been to many day spas in my day and I have yet to find one in the area that suits me. Epiphany is top of the list to not return. I was given a tour of the building, which is an eclectic collection of modern, antiques and junk. The place was not clean and the staff seemed forced to be friendly and the woman giving the tour was scripted and robotic. The building is eerie and quiet. Not pleasantly but like a funeral home. When we walked through the hair area I felt like I was intruding. I was not introduced to the hair dressers. We just walked past them and ignored them. Maybe I arrived on a bad day. Anything is possible. But, I think I will keep looking.

The staff at Epihpany was cordial enough...nothing overboard, but sometimes "nice" is better than too-nice-to-be-sincere. Anyway, I was able to get in for a massage on short notice which was nice. The massage itself was adequate if uninspired, I have had much better. The lighting in the room was way too much, I had to squint when I was on my back.

Pros: Friendly, not crowded

Cons: Bright light, lackluster skills

I liked this spa alot, I had Kristy and I think it was one of the best EVER! My massage was wonderful, my facial was to die for!!! Check this one out! I travel alot and go to spas monthly, this one I will visit again!
